I didn't try unplugging it with the levers down. I'll do that now! Thanks!! I've had a lot of sensor issues on this machine, they seem to always 'die' on me...
Ok so I tried a few things out this morning and still am having problems. It is kind of weird, I turned the machine off and manually raised the levers then turned the machine on and the levers went down like they should. But now when I go to raise them I get the message and have to start all...
I'm getting this error on my Rockhopper II its the "E 080 Error Lever Sensor Error". I had a new sensor laying around from when the capping station one went so I tried replacing both of them individually and both times the error came back. Does anyone think this could be the motor or the main...
Anyone know where I could get this part from? It's one of the 2 rollers which feed the paper rolls from the back of the machine of my Rockhopper II. Thanks!
Hey everyone I'm having some registration issues on my RockHopper II. The issue is left to right registration on the machine, it's printing between 1/32" and 1/16" off register. I've tried all the adjustments on the heads and ran all the registration patterns to try and line it back up but it...
Ok so I came in on Monday after the weekend and my machine was beeping and showing the OverCurrent error message which I've had a few times. I cleaned the encoder strip and 'zeroed' out the print carriage which usually solves this for me. Turned the print back on and got the Wiper Error message...
Thanks guys! I tried both of your suggestions this morning when I got in to work and eventually it went away. This machine is incredibly sketchy at best these days. Thanks again!
I have attached photos of my issue below. Quick background on this, I was in maintenance mode making some slight head slant adjustments finished up and did a test print just to make sure everything was still printing. My first print came out fine except for the CYAN. It printed half the pattern...
I'm having some issues with a print head, but I'm not sure whether its the Magenta or the Light Magenta head. Whichever head it is seems to start printing fine but then drops out. Attached is a sample of what happens.
Is there any way to print from just the Light Magenta OR Magenta head? When I...
I got it up and running, for whatever reason it just needed the 'Ink Charge' to go through its cycle. I've never had that happen before, kind of weird. But thanks again for another quick response!
I'll make this quick..
Came into work this morning and ripped a file and hit print on my Mutoh Rockhopper II and machine froze. I couldn't cancel it on the printer itself nor scroll using the key pad. I ended up powering the machine down and when I went to turn it back on it said Initializing...
Here is a picture off my phone, not the greatest but should do. This is the yellow print head as you can see, screw goes in the spot circled. Its a hex socket drive screw, so you use a small hex bit to screw it in. A tech in the past stripped it and I had an issue awhile ago with the yellow...
This could happen if your waste lines are clogged. This happened to me awhile ago. If the pumps have no where to send the ink they basically recycle and leak back up into the capping station. I hope its that easy for you!
Anyone know where I could possibly find these? I'm looking for the screw to the right of the damper that uses a hex socket to screw them in. I called a few places and nobody seems to carry them and I'm having a real hard time locally finding them at machine shops. Thanks!
I recently had the same problem on our printer, although its a different model. We have the Mutoh Rockhopper II. On our model there is a major design flaw where the ink doesn't drain correctly into the waste bottle due to the angle of the hose. This plugs up the exit tube and in turn causes ink...
