  1. Need Graphtec FC7000-130 mainboard/parts machine

It was a while ago but when my fc7000 went down because of a loose screw that shorted the mainboard, I had to replace it with an fc8000 board. They are basically identical.
  2. mimaki JV3-SPII

I know this is a little old but it sounds like you had an ink cartridge drain dry. If you have a slight leak in the cap station seal or possibly a pinhole in your damper, it will form a slow drip that will drain the cart into the waste tank.
  3. JV3 Mobo question

Okay, I replaced the main 40 pin cables and all is well now. Gotta be very careful with those ribbon cables. You were right jfiscus, it seem that it was the slider card, again. I just replaced it last year. Thanks all for the suggestions. That is what makes this board great!
  4. JV3 Mobo question

I acquired a donor machine yesterday so I switched out the slider card, now I have other issues. The data cables were a pita and i think I screwed one up. It's kinked now and those damn blue strips that keep it stiff and help retain them in the socket came off. Started printing random lines...
  5. JV3 Mobo question

Hello all, long time lurker and gatherer of info. You all have helped immensely with the ownership of my jv3 130spII over the years. Now, it seem I was the victim of a lightning strike or power surge, again. First time (years ago) it took out out the firewire card. I think this time it has now...
  6. JV3 Print Mystery - Block of Cyan missing...

Wow, you have some seriously clogged heads there looking at the test print. Lots of deflection going on. Have you ever taken the heads out and injected cleaning solution through them? That will help clear them up alot. I think the issue is either a clogged damper or a bad head cable as "Generic"...
  7. Looking for a Mimaki RIP

If anyone needs, I have a brand new, unused Rasterlink ProII and Mimaki Profile Master for sale.
  8. Switch from 6 color to dual 4 color

Yea, those 12 color jobbies are pretty sweet. Thanks to both of you for clearing up that bit of mis-information I was working on. New carts on order and I won't be looking back either. Man, it will be nice to get that printer running twice as fast. No more overnight print runs for me. I always...
  9. Switch from 6 color to dual 4 color

Doesn't give you a wider gamut? I thought that was the point. I'm missing something then.
  10. Switch from 6 color to dual 4 color

I don't know about you but I have had problems with ink starvation with the tall dampers. I've also had problems with the re-size leaking with the tall ones. I always use new o-rings too. I decided to eliminate the possibility of having those problems by sticking with the cheaper small dampers...
  11. Switch from 6 color to dual 4 color

Ha! You guys are awesome. Guess I should have checked the manual first. Its a 130-spII that is about 5 yrs old now. I bought her new and she has been good to me. Always used oem ss2 ink. I've done all my own repairs over the years mostly thanks to this forum. (I've been lurking for a while)...
  12. Switch from 6 color to dual 4 color

Hi all, first off I want to thank everyone here that posts and helps others. You all have helped me many times as these forums are a wealth of information. I love my JV3 but I'm tired of wasting Lc and Lm ink as I don't really use the extended gamut that often and would love to increase the...
