Hello: When I attempt to do a head cleaning, I hear a horrid noise coming from the pump unit. Any advice on that, as far as troubleshooting? Or how to determine that I need a new one? Why does this happen? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone I'll try that. What seemed to have solved my problem is cutting first and then printing. Someone said that the heat from the print can cause it to be off a bit. Worked great after trying that!

I am not sure how many shots are on the head, we were told it was new as we bought it used. We are mildly busy with maybe a job or two a month. We are using 3rd party ink (inkworx?)
