I was asking for helpfully input, not an audit of my business. I have and will always operate to the letter of the law. Like I said I am an honest hard working Police Officer of 17 years trying to support my family. I would not and could attempt to enforce the law if I don't follow them...
  10. Pricing Wraps

I have always operated legitimately. What I meant was that I don't have a note on my equipment and I don't have to pay rent or utilities specifically for my business. Yes I have insurance and taxes to pay, but my overhead is no where near what it would be if I had a storefront shop.

  13. A little Illy help, please?

Just my 2 cents, but it appears you will have to print the art. Create the text in illy at the size you need it to be, export the text as an eps, open the eps text in photoshop at your desired resolution, apply the 3D bevel effect and save it as a tiff with no compression. Import the tiff into...

  16. Chrome wrap... it may be real this time...

Avery had a chrome vinyl at the SGIA show here in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. They said it is still in the developmental stages, but will be released in 2012.
  17. Work table tops

I use 4 x 8 sheets of white PVC. It's cheap and is easy on the blades. I stick it to my table with banner hem tape. When it's all cut up, I pull it off, chuck it and stick down a new sheet. It lasts about 6 to 8 months.
  18. Apply vinyl on a boat

For future reference, you can use knifless tape. You can place one strip on the top and one on the bottom. Overlay your vinyl to cover the knifless tape and then use the knifless tape to cut the vinyl and you are done.
  19. help! wrinkles laminating

If your rollers have a crown (upward bow), if you apply a little more pressure, this will flatten out the crown and the rollers will pull evenly.
  20. Dirt Car Wrap

Since it will get banged up, I would go the cheaper route and use the Arlon 6000 with the matching laminate. I wrapped a tailgate with that stuff recently and it is not that bad to work with. The adhesive is a bit more aggressive than the 180, but then again that might be a plus in your case.
