You are correct, this testprint was printed on the SC-545. I have tried to hide the banding a bit by mixing colours but the banding stays visible.

In the print shows here I have set Postershop to print black only. I only have this problem with blacks, the rest prints perfect. I always add CMY to my blacks to get a rich black but I printed only black now to show the problem is some in the black.

Environmental conditions and seasons don't always get the attention they need. I have heard a lot of stories about machines with weird problems that were caused by low humidity. Before you find out thats the reason you have probably allready spend much time on double checking every part. Good luck!

Trik, were you able to remove these designs without a big mess of glue? I can imagine that the adhesive film would not come of as easily because it was made for application on glass. I ask because pricing of etch films is better than Tattoo film.

Aklaim, Avery Tattoo is also available in Europe, maybe it has a different name in the US? I know they do use different numbers for some of the products. Isn't "Avery True Shadow" the same (type of) product?

Thank you Jack, that sounds like the most logic explanation. In the end the dampers were switched. When the problem comes back again it should come back at the other printhead (LightMagenta) if it comes back at the LightCyan there must be a problem with the manifold and than I will replace it...
