When backpainting non-glare acrylic, do you lightly scuff/sand the 2nd surface first? My project is an interior sign. Will regular latex acrylic paint work?

It may be the clear sheet adhesive. There isn't really any gap/distance between the two layers of acrylic. It must have been adhered, and then routed/engraved afterwards. The edges are pretty flush and clean.

The Roland BN-20 Waste Tank Drain Cartridge costs about $50 for a new one. Are there any tutorials on emptying it myself, instead of buying a new one? Thanks! John

The signs I am quoting aren't permanent, but may be on-site for a year or more, depending on when the building is leased. Without framing, does the sign panel bend or warp?

Would anyone mind describing your way of framing a 4x8 MDO panel, to be installed on (2) 4"x4" posts positioned behind the panel? Do you use 2"x4"s or 2"x2"s for the framing? Do you use plywood triangles on the corners? Do smaller signs, such as 3x4s and 4x4s, need to be framed? Thanks

Is it okay to take photos of work that you designed and put it in your own portfolio, or even your own website, if it was designed while working for another sign company? I would imagine that your previous employer may have the rights to the design, but once the customers purchase and install...

For outsourcing digital prints, how much do shops usually markup? It's been hit or miss when I markup 100%, but I'm hesitant to lower the markup in case something goes wrong. I don't want to have to re-buy the same print and lose money.

I checked out the angle iron frame from Grimco. I would have used it, but it ships via motor freight only, which is $120 from Denver to Northern California. I guess I'll just give her the price for framed mdo panels. If she doesn't like it, she can buy the smaller signicade option.
