  4. Broken Stepper Motor

    Hi Everybody. I am wondering if anybody can help me with a broken stepper motor. I have a Gerber System 48 Plus and the motor had short in a couple of its wires. I contacted Gerber but they couldn't help do to the age of the system. Does anybody have any ideas? Thank you. Bikestand

    Techman, sorry for the late reply. 6 wires come out of the stepper motor and go into a red plug. Two of those wires look like they had a short in the red plug. Does this mean anything? Do you think I need to find a totally new motor? Your help is appreciated. Bikestand
