  1. Rapidtac

To RapidTac rep. Why does my RapidTac gallon comes with mention "mfg in Kamloops, BC (Canada)" and not your other products?
  2. So.......................................................................

At least she really wanted to pay you... you haven't had to run after your money. Makes me almost jealous.
  3. Need help deciding. Roland Vs540 or Roland vg540

You asked for opinion, here's mine. Got my VS540 in 2011 after 7 years on SP300 (:rock-n-roll:) and even if it had some nice features, I've wasted so much time trying to solve issues that were due to bad engineering. I've had many techs coming, inspecting the printer high & low, telling me I...

Looks pretty similar at first sight https://www.letterheadfonts.com/fonts/monogramcircle.php
  5. printing grey and getting red/blue/green undertones

Laminate film also influence the final color. So that being said, I have printed different charts (Pantone, Pantone CVC, Roland...) on cast film (because that's what I use the most) AND LAMINATE 'EM so when I truly wanna match to the closest possible, I go outside with my printed/laminated...

  9. Oracal 970RA 030 Dark Red

Maybe Mactac? 'Don't have their color chart but may worth digging a li'l this way You can also consider printing it (!) This is something I've done in the past because of the pandemic and all troubles related to getting stuff in time. On my wall I have a Pantone chart printed and it's a...
  10. Oracal 970RA 030 Dark Red

I still have it but their reds were "special"... I mean matte, satin, pearlescent and candy apple red, nothing close of what you're looking for. The only thing in the same neighborhood would be Oracal's Chili Red (371) which they have 25yds in stock in USA
  11. Oracal 970RA 030 Dark Red

Arlon dropped this line about 10 years ago...
  12. Suggestions 3m primer and avery vinyl

No. Learned it the hard way. Put some on a Sprinter van 10 years ago, lifted everywhere in corner. Had to reprint the job and reinstall. Even the Avery rep told me not to. Instead I use ProBond (which I also use for PPF) So far so good no comeback My 0.02¢
  13. How to find one of these vector designs?

Mike Jackson has a bunch of stuff of that kind in his collection. https://www.letterheadfonts.com/fonts/artists/mikejackson.php
  14. help please: Printable frosted vinyl

I use Hexis and it's also bubble-free so you can apply it dry. Great film, never had comebacks. Prints fine on my Roland.
  15. alternative for 3M IJ180CV3 & 8518

To be honest, I think all mfg have had some quality-control issues since Covid. The only bug I have with the 8518 is on the last 10ft of the roll (dull spots that disappear with heat). My trouble comes from the IJ180mC-10. I'm printing with a Roland VG2-540 (OEM inks) and on solid colors...
  16. Ritrama Vinyl

I have used their cast films for decades w/o issue. As goos as any other premium cast films on the market. Some brands like Universal Products (TFX striping) and Sharpline use/used Ritrama at some point, same for Neschen.
  17. Gorgeous lettering - is it a font?

With few tweaks here & there you can get in the same neighborhood... there's 8 variations of the Desire fonts to choose from multiplied by a lot of special caracters so it's a mix & match plus some custom work
  18. Gorgeous lettering - is it a font?

Might be custom, might be one of the nice fonts I have bought from Letterheadfonts.com Desire must be close... it offers some nice twists
