  1. L26500 Waves

Issue with the coating. Try wiping down with Isopropyl Alcohol before printing. Pain, but may fix if you just need a print out.
  2. Translucent Vinyl in a 26500

    Arlon 6500 works great
  3. L25500 cutting media and strikes

Pretty sure auto cut being off wont fix it. The problem is the head comes back across the media when doing its final checks and thus will cause a head strike. When you have a bottom margin it will stop, eject the extra margin before the final check and head movement.
  4. L25500 cutting media and strikes

Turn on the bottom margin through the front panel. 10cm or so. It will then go through the final checks, the print is rolled back in, lift occurs, it will then eject out the 10cm or so which is enough to flatten it back down before the auto cut takes place. Let me know if that explanations...
  5. L26500 Demo For sale?

How so? L26 has a much glossier black and they are essnetially using the same thermal heads
  6. jv400

Apologies, forgot about white. Yes white is still available, no issues there. Except speed. I love Mimaki machinery they make excellent production machines, I hope the JV400 works out to be really good. but from what I have personally seen so far I am having my doubts. 4 Colour printing...
  7. jv400

Straight from Mimaki Japan (head office, R&D and manufacturing) website. 4 Colour CMYK. http://www.mimaki.co.jp/jv400/english/lx.php
  8. jv400

Robert is incorrect i'm afraid. LC and LM have been discontinued for the JV400. Thanks
  9. Mimaki's new UV-LED JFX500-2131

I'm interested in this machine as well. Impressive white printing speeds if they are accurate/realistic. What makes you think no roll-to-roll? Mimaki have made some interesting developments in the last few months, excited to see what else they have waiting in the wings
  10. Mimaki Latex printer

Local price in oz is expected to be around 2.5...
  11. Mimaki Latex printer

Mimaki won't be charging anywhere near double the price of a HP latex. More like very comparable or a slight premium due to 2 more process channels and white. Will be interesting to see how the quality vs speed goes. Look forward to getting my hands on it
  12. Printing KOMA Banner on Latex

Static issue. Does you media make a sort of peeling sound as it comes off the roll? No real fix I know of as yet, unless you want to unwind and wipe with static removal gloves or similar. The wavy pattern is caused where I think the rollers are basically acting to discharge the static but only...
  13. Latex on fabric - black scratches?

What's glorious about flexi? the price? Can't help you out with that , I use Ergo Poster Print and Onyx when forced. In testing with Flexi I found that the profiles always tended to look very washed out.
  14. Latex on fabric - black scratches?

    What RIP? :clapping:
  15. Latex on fabric - black scratches?

Probably using a ****ty canned profile. Latex works beautiful on solvent and inkjet coated Canvas.
  16. Nightmare Latex Printer

Left hand side becomes oily because the power supply for the fans is on the right and as your move across left it loses power. Try partially blocking the fans over the affected area with some masking tape. Also increasing airflow isn't the solution, if anything you should try pulling it back...
  17. Need some reassurance...

Ergosoft PosterPrint FTW!!!!! Flexi is garbage for profiling, everything comes out dull. Onyx profiling is better but too time consuming, also can be quite buggy. Colorgate is meh.
  18. New HP-L26500 and HP-L28500 BEST PRICES!

Not really. Also have a much improved active filtration system, meaning the aerosol and misting that dirties up the inside of the machines is removed much better. Also the typical magenta staining you get around the edges and fans of the front wont be prevalent. The waste ink bottle has a...
  19. HP L26500 and L28500

New version should have some good updates. Besides the new inkset, things like ceramic heaters as opposed to the radiant bar style on the 25. Obviously the double sided, increased textile abilities. Increased size. WAY WAY WAY improved take up system just to name a few. Was speaking to a HP...
  20. Drying issueson one side

Fairly common issue, as already mentioned the heating power is strongest on the right hand side. Work around some people use is to partially block the fans with some masking tape on the affected side
