I have a latex 560 and most colors have been printing fine until I was printing some samples for a job on arlon SLX. I color calibrated it and the greys from the calibration look great. I cleaned the printhead did a test plot print and everything seems fine there. I printed again win the same...
So as the title says I am looking to upgrade, my real question is, is it worth the money? What improvements are on the newer machines? Will I have to upgrade my rip software as well? Any other info I need to know? Thanks in advance for anyone's help!

So I mainly do snowmobile and dirt bike graphics. I use a 6 mil vinyl and a 10 mil lam. It doesn't matter if I use registration marks or not, my cuts will start out spot on and by the end of the cuts and be off by 3/4", it's like the heavy material doesn't feed at the correct speed or the excess...
