What kind of Clear vinyl are you using? I'm having problems with "cut thru" decals using an Oracal clear vinyl. I usually use General Formulation for my regular decals because of the non branded #90 liner. Excellent for kiss cutting and cut thru decals. I attached a photo of the result of me...
Looking for options!! I love the HP Latex's they have been fixing tons of issue's, but they just can't get them to print white. Do I have to go to a Flatbed to print this color? What are you using?
I'm using a HP 360 and 560 Latex with a Onyx 12 Rip and I find I get warped prints and I find it a gamble when print large qty's of decals. I sweat when I'm about to print and cut contour and or circle shape to find out the cuts are not perfect. I currently have a Fc8000 Grapthec and I'm...
Looking to buy a new printer what are your thoughts on the best printers to use for Print and cut decals. I currently use HP 360 & 560 Latex. The printing looks great I just have been getting misaligned prints from time to time and wondered what other people are using.
I've been cutting quite a bit of decals and the edges are rough and slightly jagged. I've change the blade to an brand new one and I still get the jagged edge. I've been using Oracal Orajet 3651 and 3641 and I get the same result on both. Can this be a issue with the liner make up. The Oracal...
I'm having a hard time getting the frost vinyl to stick to the medium tack transfer tape. I've also adjusted my cutting depth to insure I wasn't locking the vinyl down into the backing. Should I be using a higher tack transfer tape?
3m Scotchcal Frosted vinly
Rtape transfer tape paper and clear.
So I have been battling trying to figure how to keep this from happening. Please look over my two photos that I have attached. These were both from a very short runs and they both were off in the X direction. The Y direction looks dead on and is not a concern. Here is my equipment stats...
Project: Print & Cut vehicle lettering
Alright I've been battling with this for a long time and I've been trying to convince my boss that this doesn't work. Weeding problems with smaller (3/16'' to 1 1/2'') text with a print and cut process on Cast vinyl. Most of the time it's Cast vinyl (3m)...
HP L25500 printer, Onyx 10 rip, & Fc8000 Graphtec cutter.
Just today some of my jobs where cutting slightly off from normal. I was cutting a combination of print & cut 4'' circles and Squares. Monday I printed and cut some files that were the same combination without fail. it's only off...
Whoops! Boss bought this vinyl without checking the real authority of his printing machine. I couldn't find the profile anywhere I tried both the HP and Avery Sites. Thanks in advance!
