I found a 7 year old Canon IPF 8000 printer with brand new print heads for $500. I don't have any experience with Canon printers. I currently have a Mutoh VJ 48 and a HP Plotter. Any advice would be appreciated.
We have a Mutoh 1204 VJ printer in our high school that I'm in charge of.
My question is in regards to colors. Why when a print a decal that is say 8" x 8" the red is really a good deep red and when I resize it to say 4" x 4" the red looks lighter and faded out?
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm having a problem with either my printer or my software. I've tried four times to print the same file (I've redone the file 2 times) but it stops printing after about 60%. Any suggestions?
They are self-piercing grommets. I bought them from the same place I got the machine from.
They told me that they were the only ones that would work on that machine and that outside companies grommets would not work.
Is that the case?
I have the following grommet machine: http://www.buygrommets.com/buygrommets/BGTEPXL_grommet_machine.asp
It worked perfectly for vinyl banners when I got it, but for some reason the grommets will not fully compress now. Anyone have any experience with this machine? I contacted the company...
How long should you soak the printhead? Will overnight be too long? I plan on doing it when I leave work today and taking it out when I get back in the morning.
Good or Bad idea?
What is the best weight of banner material to use for outdoor use? I have a Mutoh printer that I use to do the banners. Thanks for any help in advance.
I see that some suppliers sell ink refills for the Eco-Solvent ink. My question is how is this done. I use the cartridges, but would love to do some with the refillable inks to save money. Thanks
I'm new to the Adobe Suite. I'm currently using Illustrator for my designs. My question is regarding bringing files into Illustrator and tracing them. I often have problems where the file gets distorted or really messed up when I trace it.
What type of file is the best for a client to send...
