We Use a Hp Fb700 Large Format Printer ....
The Problem is Storage Of Substrates, Most Are Over 4' x 8' (48'' x 96'') Sheets and the heavy duty shelving handles exactly 4'x'8' so its
useless to store sheets flat on these racks except for the top shelf....
What would be perfect is Shelving to...
Recently printed signs on aluminum composite 4x8 sheets looked very nice. After delivery to customer signs were sent back do to customers handling of signs, scratched off printing, We tried a roll on UV protecting coat only to have the image peel off in sheets.
Is there any specific coatings...
Oh thats just great, puts ya between a rock and a hard place.....
we do get most off with IPA and a Q-tip but its a great pain and doesn't look pretty.

We have been running into a reoccurring problem. we are printing on 12 pt
42 x 60 card stock both sides regular and full bleed...
Here is what's happening, on the trailing end of the sheet about an inch from the edge if the sheet there will be black dots running the width of the material...

I Was told to spray the belt down with IPA then wrap it in shrink wrap to keep the IPA from evaporating and to let it on for a couple of hours
on a down time day if you have any ... Its supposed to wipe off easy then.
You need a helper to hold the advance-button down...

Noticed when the problem was it its worst the humidity was around 39%
turned up the humidifier and its around 49 to 50 percent and the curl is a lot better,
the lamps were on low already, plus I opened the delivery end and had a fan in there to take out the excess heat all seems to be...
We are Taping the Sheets down now but its a real pain....Not to sound dumb but im learning, what does turning the lamps down do in the printing process to help curl? would a delay do the same thing, would turning the lamps down cause any image scraping off problems...

Im Having Problems Printing on compressed card stock 2 up, size is 42 x 60 thickness is .012...
As per leaving the white ink in, prints are ok depending on usage and size of signs.
But but for the smaller size jobs the color is so very much cleaner and smoother.
Also with white ink in all the time you will go crazy with all the automatic head flushes and head cleaning to keep the white...
