I have a graphtec but not that kind. The first thing that came to my mind was on my signmaking software (Gerber/Omega) is the machine cutting a weed border?? If I am in left fied forgive me. I just walked in to work and am still asleep.
OK. Thanks guys. I think I got an ok RAM dell. Nothing fancy. But VP is VERY cool and will get exactly what I need when the time comes. I just didn't know what that was. Tahnks.
My #2 boss (VP) bought me a new Dell in 2004. You shoulda seen the ancient POS I was using before that. But, anyhow I'm 3 seconds from harping for something better. What should I get? (Be aware the Pres. does NOT like to spend) The VP is cool and understands the need for good equiptment.
I am a kinda newbie (htought I was doing good till I found here) but I know that I get those alot and if you are using Omega you can try under tools- Posterize.
Sometimes it's great and sometimes you get a bunch of crap. Even when it's great though you have to clean it up. Usally it's not too...
I am not printing it. I have to cut it out of vinly and lay it on the sign. We don't have a printer. I appreciate all your help. I got the image in there and have nearly perfect lines. A few minutes of adjustment and we'll be all set.
The image is going on a white 30x30 blank in the...
Shovelhead I just wanted to thank you again for trying to help me. I really appreciate it. And I feel like a dummy for wasting your time. But if I can get that file usable the image should be better than the bitmap image that I had. If I can actually see the image (instead of a bunch of...
Ok, got the e-mail but I tried to open it and it crashed composer. 3 times. BUT I REALLY appreciate your help.
And here's a laugh for you. I am supposed to cut that out of vinyl and lay it on the sign. By hand.
:thankyou:
E-mail attatchment
It is in PDF I am retarded. I need step by step. I am using Adobe Acrobat to view it. I have no clue.
ETA: It was sent as an e-mail attatchment. It is going on a baseball sign (30x30) at the local ball field.
How do I export?
I need to export a PDF file into Omega and it keeps saying it can't read it. I am trying to do ao logo and the only reasonable way I will bea able to do the thing is to import it into composer as a usable vector image cause it's Garfield and I have to do it in vinyl. It is...
We have a metal/silkscreen/painting shop out back (factory) main office 2 head cheese offices and my office crammed with desk, table (comp) plotter, and weeding/application table I use to sstore junk. I usally apply signs on front counter.
I started my "signmaker" job knowing computer basics. Was shown how to basically run the omega software and then left on my own. A year and a half later I like to think I am a hell of alot better than I was starting out but I KNOW there is still a ton I need to learn.
