we use to use 8518 for perf but we noticed its not very clear in direct sunlight such as on a car window. it shows all the streaks from the squeege and will not come out with heat.

we have actually had are 640 for about a year and we have had only 1 head strike. i have been really happy with it so far. and are xc-540, the motor just went out with 3200 hours on it. not bad

just use the oracal3105 with a heat gun and roller and if you laminate. use the 3M 8518

I put mine on 130 and cuts perfect
