  1. Avery Failures Return

I'm curious to hear how things are going with Avery Colorado. We have been using it exclusively here for the past 3 years, and have not had Any material problems. Some wraps we did 5-7 years ago in Avery look as good or better than the 3M180 ones we did in the same time period.
  2. MAPS Anti-banding technology - Not just for brand new Mimaki Printers!

One thing I read in another thread was that with Firmware 3.0 and higher, the Firmware "checks" to make sure you are running a O.E.M. Mimaki print head. If not, it will give you a error code.
  3. CJV30-160 stops mid print / Unknown Device

Win7-64 USB to USB. Computer says "Unknown Device". A few prints have just stopped in the middle of printing. The printer "beeps", returns to capping station, and shows remote in the window. No error codes. Now the computer won't see it at all... Any ideas ??

  8. Please read if your are considering Arlon GTX

Here are a few links to ARLON. We have used 4560GTX for various projects over the last 4-5 years, some good, some not so good. Bottom line is, it works great on FLAT surfaces, but it Will pull out of vehicles channels like someone mentioned, and will Not stay down around rivets/screws. It is a...
  9. Sprinter Van Recesses...

Are you planning on letting those prints "Gas out" for 24 hrs before laminating?? Done a few with 3M 380, and it works good. I would still use a little primer in the radius's. I know they are expensive, but IF you are gonna "Roll in" with 380, you Need the 3M tools. If you use 380, you gotta...

  19. what is the rule of thumb for wrap pricing

I have to agree with Mark. For years it was $15.00 a sq, $7.00 for prints wholesale. In the last year or 2, Suburbans are being quoted @ $1750.00, vans at $1995, Full Size Crew Cabs at $8.00 a sq.....It's Crazy. The ones without lam are just Knarly..faded, cracked...YIKES!! Get what you can...
