  3. CJV3-0130 - Washing Solution Needle Assembly replacement - Tech who has part No.s?

Wondering if a tech can assist with Part Numbers for the circled assembly and chip attached that are both damaged after a washing cartridge change. Removing the old cartridge was harder than usual and without knowing it at the time, the top chip had been pulled from it's housing...
  4. Problem with cutting on my Mimaki CJV30

Sounds like a layering issue Hi laurel It sounds like the two cut paths might be on the same Layer. I've sent a PM with details if you are using Rasterlink as packaged with your CJV30. Hope this helps Roger
  5. Mimaki CJV30-160 Measures

HI Saw this a few days ago and looked for my Mimaki supplied floor plan diagram, unfortunately, the plan isn't that precise. The broadest depth of the top of the CJV30-160 is just over 68.25 cms.....but the rollers that are on the base allow you to swing the machine through an arc as you come...
  6. Wavy Color

Similar issue in the past with CJV30-130 I think you are describing the same issue I 've seen with my CJV 30-130 when printing on 230 gsm art paper. I see that you have experienced it across media and have looked at heat settings, so I thought I'd weigh in with my 2 cents worth. I am in no way...
  7. Advantage Sign Supply -

Big thanks to Matt and his team at Advantage Sign Supply for making an overseas purchase of original inks a very simple and smooth operation. Shelf-life on our inks is important as a small operation and some suppliers treat their small customers as dumping grounds for older stock...not Advantage...

  10. Maps on business cards and postcards

Just a thought you might like to try...maybe you could print a QRCode that linked directly to the web address of the map site...people could open the link via mobile device and the map is on-screen for them.
  11. Snapper - Western Australia

Hi from NSW and I agree with SuncitySigns...the forum contributions here have been really helpful and I'm sure you'll find it well worth a regular visit.
  12. FineCut 8 and Illustrator CS6

Has anyone tried the new update that allows Mimaki users of Finecut to upgrade. Noticed the message dated 7 December and interested if anyone has opted-in yet? Being new to this business I take a very cautious "if it aint broke - don't fix it" approach...so just wondering...
  13. CJV30-160 bad registeration

No probs with our CJV 30-130 when Reg marks used in the suggested sizing through Rasterlink via Illustrator. We've accurately cut small stickers and large items with no loss of accuracy. Agree with ironchef above that Reg Marks are a great bonus when error messages appear during cut. You can...
  14. cjv30-130 (x Overcurrent:ave)

Had the same error messages within a couple of months of my install. The technician here in Sydney was great...he adjusted the current being applied to the motor. Could be a similar issue. My machine was making a high-pitched noise during the cutting process that became worse over time. Now...
  15. Having a bad day ?

How does that song go....the first cut is the deepest.
