We are making a hand painted sandwich board that will be out in the rain a lot. Is there a good type of wood to use and a good type of background paint to use if we are lettering in 1 shot?

We use an anti-graffiti laminate on some signs. Once and a while after mounting it to a substrate bubbles appear. Long streaky bubbles. When we try and pop them and work them out they re appear in a short time. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem? We were mounting them on an Ezy...

if there is just a few things you want to interchange I made channels from one cut channel of corro glued on to a panel above and below where you could slide your interchangable words in and out that are cut vinyl mounted on strips of corro. if that makes any sense:smile:
Problem Solved
We laminate with all sorts of laminates...cast, gloss, semi gloss, lustre, matte, dry erase, etc etc. The problem seemed to occur on everything we were using . We adjusted the tension and it seems to be working now...thanks everyone for your help!
banner scraps
we use our banner scraps to package up banners wound around old media rolls by taking a short length long enough to wrap around the banner and fasten with a piece of tape. cant use the scraps up very fast but it is hand to have a few rolls kickin around to do this with.
sounds like the same problem. we adjusted the tension on the take up roller and it seems to be working better. although the take up roller is getting full of backing again so i am wondering if it is just working because of that factor. I will have to wait untill I am down to an empty take up...
I use the GBC Titan WideFormat Roll Laminator at the shop I work at. I have been having trouble with the laminate not peeling away from the backing and it rides up and gets caught in the take up roller. Is there anything I can adjust to stop this from happening? It seems to stop doing this...
