  1. Temporary window graphics - "COMING SOON" window wrap during new construction

I was actually leaning towards the General Formulations vinyl. As for taping paper prints, my customer said absolutely no tape. I was thinking of using a cheap banner material as well but not sure how I'd hang them in the windows and a pole pocket. These are 40-70" wide windows in metal...
  2. Temporary window graphics - "COMING SOON" window wrap during new construction

Adhesive-backed paper? I don't have any experience with digital adhesive-backed paper. Do you know of a low-teck paper product that would be easily removable in a few months?
  3. Temporary window graphics - "COMING SOON" window wrap during new construction

Any ideas on digital material? Has anyone else had experience with these type of graphics? I'm open to suggestions on a cheap, low-tack digital media. Quality is not an issue since it only has to last 3 months. I've seen this type of graphics in malls before during new store build-outs.
  4. Temporary window graphics - "COMING SOON" window wrap during new construction

Full color The owners want full color instead of just black and white, so I can't really do a reverse die-cut then apply white.
  5. Temporary window graphics - "COMING SOON" window wrap during new construction

Hey Everyone, I have a customer that is about to build out a 4,000 square foot retail space in Seattle and need the windows covered with printed graphics to block the public's view during construction. It's all windows on three sides of the space, so I'm looking at 840 square feet of glass to...
  6. Decent Air Release sticker vinyl??

I use Instant One Media for small decals. $220 for both the vinyl and the lam. It's air-release and I haven't had any issues with it for the 2 years i've been using it.
  7. Roland Versaworks Issue - Color problems and "glitches"

Spot colors This customer designs their own graphics so I'm not sure if he used spot colors. Is there a setting in Versaworks that I can change to properly print spot colors. Also, believe it or not, I am not quite sure of the difference between CMYK and spot colors. I know what CMYK is...
  8. Roland Versaworks Issue - Color problems and "glitches"

Hey Everyone, I've had some color issues with Versaworks. I have Versa Works Version 5.5.0, a Roland SP540v and am using the new Windows 10. Even before I updated Windows, Versaworks would print certain dark greens and browns as black. I'd fix the issue by changing the color in Illustrator...

  12. Roland SP-540v - Blue drips

dampers Yes, I've checked with a flashlight in cleaning mode and there is nothing on the bottom of the heads. I clean all the way around the two with Roland's cleaning solution and a lint-free swap, as well as the wipers, etc. I'll open the cover like you've suggested and check the dampers.
  13. Roland SP-540v - Blue drips

Thanks The blue ink drops will be in similar spots going all the way down the media, if that makes a difference. How can I check if the damper is full? I don't know where it's located.
  14. Roland SP-540v - Blue drips

Hey Everyone, My Roland keeps dripping small blue ink drops on my prints, even when I've just cleaned it the day before. I can't see any lint on the heads. Any ideas on what it can be? My wipers look like they're in good condition since I'm very serious about cleaning at least once a week...
