  1. Roland 545EX Blown Power Board

They run about 770+Tax. It's high for what it is, Should really be $100-200, but what can I do, lose money waiting, tinkering? That ford quote has come into play, "If you need a machine and don’t buy it, then you will ultimately find that you have paid for it and don’t have it."
  2. New switch cannot find the Versacamm

Check all or your ip's. I have mine all sequential. Check cables, reset switch, buy a new switch. I got the 8port TP link from amazon and the thing just plugs in and goes. Maybe check your ip setting are correct in your software.
  3. Roland 545EX Blown Power Board

Thanks all, I ended up buying a new board from roland, because of the time crunch. I will get the old one repaired and keep it as a spare or list it for sale. Next step is a second printer so I am not put into these do or die situations.
  4. What wide format Printer to get?

Hey guys, I am just wondering what your opinions are on the printers that are out now. I have an older 54" print/cut roland. Now I think for my next printer I will just go straight printer 50-60", Solvent. Mimaki, mutoah, epson. I do have a roland and it has been great but I think, they may be...
  5. Roland 545EX Blown Power Board

  6. Roland 545EX Blown Power Board

Not yet, I have to order parts, I found one of the transistors is bad too. I just don't know if I replace these items if something else got messed up. There's a lot of stuff on the board, and i'm no electrical engineer. Will or does Roland sell these?
  7. Roland 545EX Blown Power Board

Hey Guys, I am having the worst Friday, I went to turn on my printer and there was no power at all. I opened it up and checked the main power board fuse and it was blown. So I put in a new fuse (5A instead of the 6.3A) and that made things worse as a Power Resister Heated up and smoked, fuse did...
  8. Epson S30670 Banding

Let us know the update on this. I was thinking it could be a media issue. I have a roll of that and one side prints great while the other does not.
  9. Epson Sure Color Printer S70670

Thanks for reply Thanks for the reply!! The stuff I print does not fall below the 720 range so I am not use to too much speed but quality and gamut is the normal issue with my Roland 6color. Try printing a black and white photo with a splash of color on it and I can't. So I guess the biggest...
  10. Air Knife

I would think this would blow dust all around the shop and back down. I think a good (dedicated) hepa shopvac (fein) with a nice wide brush tip would be a better place to start and just vac them clean. You can only blow so much stuff off as things tend to stick and air just cant remove everything.
  11. Epson Sure Color Printer S70670

Hello, I am just wanting to hear from anyone who has one of these new Surecolor printers. I am interested in buying one due to the extra ink colors and the larger color gamut. I have some test prints and they look great. I like my Roland but I think all the other solvent printers are missing...
  12. L26500 Printer Shot this out

looks like some spare parts. Turn it upside down and shake it to make sure it's all clear. Looks like a giant retaining bar, pin.
  13. Looking for EcoSol Vinyl, .20C PSF +or- "No logo printing on backing sheet"

You would not expect to buy a burger from mcdonalds and see the wrapper or bag covered in sysco or international paper logos would you? That would be weird huh? If I was a person or company buying a thousand stickers with my design or logo, I would not want a vinyl companies logo on the back...
  14. Looking for EcoSol Vinyl, .20C PSF +or- "No logo printing on backing sheet"

Only thing is I have a 44" lam so 54" rolls wont work for me.
  15. Good alternative to Oracal Matte Lam 210 ???

I do like this product but I am just wondering if there is a product equal or better that I may like more in the same price range of cheap enough for decals.
  16. Looking for EcoSol Vinyl, .20C PSF +or- "No logo printing on backing sheet"

Just looking for a cheap matte material for decals that has blank backing paper. I love Oracal 3621 but can't use it because of the printing on the backing paper. Please help:banghead: Much Love, Happy Weekend!
  17. Roland giving some money back ?

I have a 545ex and must say after 6 years registration is very good. Not "Summa crazy good" but pretty good as long and you run print/cut calibrate once in a while. That said I'm cutting 3 mills, I can only imagine 12 mill must put a big stress on the machine. The pulling wire would get under...
  18. Looking for Glow in the dark Vinyl

I see they are making it in china so I am surprised no one in the states carries anything other than green/yellow. http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/glow-in-the-dark-film-with_1311366897.html
  19. T140 keeps Looking for cropmark that is not there.

Im stumped and I figure this must be an easy fix. My cutter was working fine last week when I was doing some small runs now I load a piece 30"x30" with 4 crop marks and it finds the first one just fine but then it gets stuck searching for a crop mark that it thinks is about 15" back from the...
  20. Summa Looking for cropmark Caldera did not print? Phantom cropmark?

Yes it was working fine, machine is new 140t2 It has to be in the machine because just loading from the machine without caldera involved it sees the first mark then gets stuck looking for mark that is not there. For some reason I think it might be thinking it is at the back reg point when...
