I've cleaned the decoder strip. I've turned off RIP while printing. I've cleaned RIP queue, and holds. I've deleted tmp files. Any my tiling is factory set. Its still doing the skipping at the end of the printing. HELP! I'm so far behind after this week!
I have run 6 different prints of the same design and its "skipping" in the exact same place. Its also "skipping" on other designs as well, right towards the end of the print.
Can someone tell me how to prime the cap? I was told by the guy who sold me the MS to drop some distilled water onto the cap with a syringe. Is this the only way to do this? Is this the correct way to do this?
Could someone with a Mutoh 1204 post a picture of your printhead gap on the platen? Attached is a picture of mine, but I’m being told it’s not where it needs to be. I can’t get it any lower!!! I’ve got to get printing!! Haven’t printed in over 2 wks and jobs are backing up!!!
I have replaced printhead cables, checked printhead height, checked F2 fuse, still nothing. Could I have gotten a defective maintenance station that isn't working correctly. Not sure if the MS pump is actually trying to pull air in or not. Any other suggestions before I throw this thing out...
I've changed print cables, fuse checks good (even though I bought 2), printhead gap is level, still nothing! I'm at a loss! Could it be a defective maintenance station even though its new? Will post a video of maintenance station working.
Ordered o-rings, but have a question. How much of a gap should be between printhead and vinyl? I'm trying to determine if maybe my printhead is not all the way down. It doesn't seem like it will go down any further, but there is a gap.
