Font Company's "Digital Black," stepped on. Thanks for the hint on Continuum. Set me on the right path.

Continuum is close, but that almost looks like they traced whatever this font is to make it. Look at the lefthand junction of the "h", it's a right angle in the logo. Grrrr...

Hit Dollar General or a Dollar Tree and pick up a case of coffee filters. We used coffee filters to clean sheets of glass in a frame shop that I worked in about a million years ago. They leave absolutely no lint at all.

It wouldn't shock me if that somehow involved fiber optics, but honestly it could literally be anything considering who owns the sign. With the kind of cash Google has on hand there's no telling what they dropped on that thing.

There's a slight bend on the top and the bottom of the O, and the junction of the K is different. Again, it's close, but it's not the same. I'll hold out a few more minutes for Tikis or Dr. Pug.

It sounds like you've moved on to bigger and more interesting problems, however with respect to the original problem, the ink dropping off after the machine has been printing for a while, we've had an issue kind of like this before. Is it always the magenta, or do other colors fail...
