Well, the reason for wanting the upgrade is, as I said in other thread, that I've change the printhead and the machine does not update the head ID number, in order to have the correct parameters with the new one. The FW of this machine is 2.20, and the version that let you change this number...

Hi all, Is there any chance of upgrade the 2.20 FW on my CJV30/160 to, at least, 2.50?. How is it made?.

Totally down after the rebooting I guess not. And I don't know for sure if the head is OEM or not. The independent supplier does not indicate it, only says that this is the head for this machine. Another thing is that the little Head Memory PCB, located in front of the head case, does not come...

Thanks VanderJ, The cables are new too, and they have to be bended to install them, but I'll look them again. An extrange thing that I've noticed is that the new Head ID number is not shown when you enter in the HEAD ID menu and the number that appears is the old one.
