a while back, I know I saw somewhere on someones website that they offered a kit to rebuild a valuejet maintenance station. I think it had maybe a pump, tubing, a new wiper rail, and I do not remember what else. does anyone know if this is still available somewhere? thanks

What are some opinions on third party parts for Mutoh printers. Some parts I see no way there can be a difference (i.e. dampers) but what about maintenance stations, printheads, etc. There cannot be that many companies that make these parts one would think, but what are some experiences with...

I have kinda kicked around the idea of placing a piece of saran wrap on top of the cap under my soaking cloth to keep wicking from happening. anyone have an opinion on this idea?

Went to print this morning and my yellow quit printing about one inch into the print. Now the test only has intermittent yellow (a couple lines maybe). The damper is full, so it seems my problem is between the damper and the head. Kinda like it is not getting ink to the head or it is not...

you could possibly have air in the lines. i have had this happen after replacing parts. i run about five strong cleans and it seems to get all the air out. may not be your problem though.

coulg be your printer is stuck in black mode. happened to me a while back. on your control panel if the 3 quality/speed lights are all lit, you are in black only mode. will still do a nozzle check with all colors, but prints a file black

i am not sure the black needs aligned as much as it is such a mess. I had a pattern like that once that i thought was misalignment, but when i got the nozzles straightened out, it looked right. just a thought

i wondered the same thing and no one really had an opionion as to if it could be done. i think it could be done with a little creative bracket making but it does not directly bolt up. they should make a retrofit kit or something in my opinion
