  1. Mimaki CJV30-130 For Sale

Mimaki CJV30-130 For Sale PRICE REDUCED OK, boss says we can sell this for $8500.00 or would trade for a like condition 30 inch print and cut machine plus some cash. We stopped doing larger signs and banners and primarily do stickers and garment transfers. Let me know if you are interested...
  2. Mimaki CJV30-130 For Sale

For Sale: Mimaki CJV30-130 Cut and Print. Less than three years old. Can't be told from a new one. Business is taking a different direction so I wish to sell. Still in use daily. Set up for CMYKLcLm, but can easily be changed to dual CMYK or to use metallic or white ink. Located in upstate SC...
  3. Mimaki CJV30-130 vs. Roland SP 540i

Some people say yes, some say no. If you are just doing signs, banners, stickers, etc I would go dual CMYK. If you are planning to do any type of photography or fine art (giclee) the 6 color is the way to go. Be advised, however, that the print speed with six color is slower than dual CMYK, but...
  4. Mimaki CJV30-130 vs. Roland SP 540i

Roland vs Mimaki Have had both. Currently have a CJV30-130. Love it. Three stage heating and the media handling are big plus. Use SS-21 inks in a CMYKLcLm configuration because we do a lot of canvas art. Have had no banding issues and prints look fantastic. Not as fast in that configuration...
  5. Siser colorprintPU Matte finish not transferring!

Siser colorprint PU Matte Just got a new roll this week. Used the TTD Mask and had absolutely no problems. Using a Mimaki CJV30-130. Maybe it was just a bad roll. Hope you get it sorted out. You might want to try Siser's new Colorprint Soft. Have used it also from a sample that they sent me...

  7. Made it to Vegas!

Got to Vegas yesterday. Up $16.00 so far (probably the kiss of death). Found out today they have $1 blackjack at the Riviera. Saw two different men on the street today, each holding a sign (hand lettered) saying: "Kick me in the nuts for $20.00". I don't even see that in Atlanta!. :omg: Guess...

  9. For Sale: Graphtec CE6000-60

I have for sale, in excellent condition, a 24" Graphtec CE6000 with stand. Still under warranty until June of 2015. It comes with the CB09 and CB15 blade holders along with 45 and 60 degree CleanCut blades. I am also including an extra, new cutting strip. Just bought a new 54" printer and am...

  11. eco solvent or water based ink for canvas ?

We use 6 color (CMYKLcLm) pigment ink for all of our canvas work. We use solvent for everything else. A little more expensive for the canvas work, but the final output is worth it. You can pick up a used Roland FJ-540 very reasonably. Just make sure that you inspect it well before purchase. They...
  12. Anyone going to SGIA in Vegas this OCT?

    I'll be there..............
  13. Looking for Roland Color Rip

Colorip and Windows 7/8 One of my printers is a Roland FJ-540 which, of course, uses Colorip. I am using version 2.2 and have no problems running under either Windows 7 or 8. If you are not using ver 2.2, maybe the upgrade will allow you to get rid of that old XP computer.
  14. Scoring adhesive vinyl backing for easy peeling.

Backing Cutter Don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but everybody should have one of these. http://www.olfa.com/UtilityKnivesDetail.aspx?C=8&Id=549 You can buy them most anywhere Olfa cutters are sold. Joe
  15. Inexpensive consumable parts for xc-540

Excellent Question I too would like an answer to that question. I own a 54" Roland and a 54" Mimaki and only use OEM parts. I figure that the amount I would save using "comparable" parts would be offset by the first time I had to replace a printhead or other major part. I just don't know enough...

  17. Roland SC-545EX Service Manual

Was wondering if someone could send me the service manual for a Roland SC-545EX? Have searched for the past couple of days and the only thing I can find is the User Manual. Am going to look at one over the weekend and want to get a little more familiar with it if possible. If you could send it...
