Hi folks, I was away for a few days and failed to notice that the two black inks (SS21) had expired. JV150 said unable to print... fair enough. I replace the inks but nothing prints at all. Numerous cleaning cycles didn't help. It seems odd that expired inks would stop the self cleaning...

I use PolyPlast for cones. Need to wipe the print area with Iso first tho, to get rid of any plastisizers.

I use Oracal solvent postive. printing with Mimaki JV33 Excellent results, even with fine half tones.

You could also install something like TeamViewer or similar software, and access the computer remotely... use it as tho you are sitting in front of it. I do that alot. Sit in the comfort of my lounge whilst controlling the remote computer in the workshop. Also have a cam attached and pointed at...

make sure to set the outline thickness to hairline.

I use Oracle 651 for a sand blasting mask. Works well. Just have to make sure the glass is clean so the vinyl sticks properly.

You could print on to silicon release paper and sprinkle the wet ink with adhesive powder, then press on. I do this on occasion for larger runs. A lot cheaper than press on vinyl. I usually screen print around 10 up. So print runs are quite short. It also allows for multiple colours to be...
