  2. Looking To Use Cutting Plotter

Ok I'll check out rx & summa. Thanks! But I'll have to figure out a solution for the marks; the plotter shouldn't be doing that. The reason I'm looking at the fc700(used 54" for $1300) & j5(new 40" $2200) is the price & I'm familiar with the controls. I'm just using it to cut paint protection...
  3. Fc7000 Vs. Fc8600

On a budget. What do you think of a fc7000 or fc8600 to cut ppf kits? How significant is the advantage of the new over old besides the lack of warranty on the 7000? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  4. Looking To Use Cutting Plotter

And im planning to upgrade to gcc j5 just not to have the problem. Suggestion? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  5. Looking To Use Cutting Plotter

I'll try again heating it again. It seems the films with track marks have a more malleable top coat. And apparently the rollers & drums are pressing the film hard enough to leave the mark on top but not underneath. Weird? Did u adjust the middle roller pressure when cutting the think...
  6. Looking To Use Cutting Plotter

Oic .... But all the rollers are leaving track marks on the film surface from the grid drums Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  7. Looking To Use Cutting Plotter

It happens during cutting, & the solution should be adjusting the pressure of the rollers of which it is not possible. Solution? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  8. Looking To Use Cutting Plotter

I bought a used gcc j4-101s to cut ppf. It works great with xpel, suntek, & similar thickness film. BUT due to the texture grid drums under the rollers, they leave permanent texture tracks on thicker ppf(old 8mil 3m, clearshield, 14mil 3m, etc) Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  9. 48"+ Plotter Suggestion

The saying goes, the size of your comfort zone is the size of your income.... So also goes for the size of the vehicle should reflect the size of your income Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  10. Gcc Jaguar J4 Plotter Issue

I was wondering if anyone knows if the j4-101s roller's pressure is adjustable. On thicker paint protection film, the texture metal grid drums under the rollers are creating permanent texture imprints on top of the film. And i think the j5 model got the same grid drums, thus, does it have the...
  11. Suggestions Jaguar Iv 101 Plotter Issue

It was working fine until i disconnected from my laptop usb, & few days later reconnected it back. Everything seems fine on the laptop until i try to plot. The work order wasn't going into the plotter. It just queue on the computer. Before it would start to cut within 5 sec. The only thing...

I am new to vehicle sign/paint protection film making. I just got a used roland cx-300 and it seems to work fine. I am in the process of obtaining flexi pro 8. Will there be issues with them working together? :thankyou:
