  1. Best place to list a Mimaki CJV30-100 for sale?

I have $10k invested in the purchase, so I am at least trying to recoup $6k from the machine since it will take $2k to $4k to fix possibly. The tech who came to my house gave me all the firmware versions he had, 1.2 up to 3.0. My machine came stock with 2.0 since it had not even been plugged in...
  2. Best place to list a Mimaki CJV30-100 for sale?

Yes, I had got a non-oem head to take the cheaper way out. However that did not fix it. I have tried several firmware versions and it still will not work. Odd thing is, one or two of the firmwares tell me head something strange. I still get the device construction error, and when I look at the...
  3. Best place to list a Mimaki CJV30-100 for sale?

Basically the machine was bought new in 2010 by the original owner who never even used it, but only set it up and printed like once with it. Supposedly he flushed it out per Mimaki instructions and it sat for three years and he decided to sell it. I have not doubt what the guy told me, but come...
  4. Best place to list a Mimaki CJV30-100 for sale?

can someone tell me the best place to list a Mimaki CJV30-100 that I NEED to sell fast?
  5. Looking for local Mimaki Tech to give estimate to repair my CVJ30 in Dallas,TX

I looked at the only two fuses I could find on the machine. The two fuses next to the power connection inside the panel. There is a larger clear fuse and a solid white fuse. Both look ok, so is there another fuse somewhere else on the machine, or which of the two should I just go ahead an replace?
  6. Looking for local Mimaki Tech to give estimate to repair my CVJ30 in Dallas,TX

Ok, is there a tech in my area who can come look at my machine to give an estimate for repairs in Dallas, TX? I am at the end of the line with trying to get this dang thing fixed. I even had Dave, a mimaki tech who is on here from time to time on the phone stumped as to why my machine is acting...
  7. Mimaki CJV30 Firmeware needed!!!

Ok, thanks. I ordered a new cable set off ebay last night, so I hope that does the trick. Seems like one problem after another.
  8. Mimaki CJV30 Firmeware needed!!!

Well, now I am confused, I put the old head back on to experiment. Now, I STILL get the ERROR 202 Device construction. Could this be a result of a back print head cable? I know the old head was not getting this error, put on the new head and starting getting this error, and now the old head is...
  9. Mimaki CJV30 Firmeware needed!!!

Well, this machine sat for 3 years and honestly I don't know the TRUE history of a 3 year old head. I let the old head soak in butyl cello solve and acetone mixture for days and even got a ultrasonic cleaner to help it out. I did make progress, but never could get any flow except a tiny spray of...
  10. Mimaki CJV30 Firmeware needed!!!

Well, I know it can make me a lot of money. However, I do not honestly have $1700 for a new head and if I did I would buy it because I know I will make money on it. I am an under paid safety man who tries to do this stuff on the side to make a little extra income.
  11. Mimaki CJV30 Firmeware needed!!!

Well, unfortunately $1700 is just not even remotely possible. It is very true I have learned a lot from this experience, but not the way I wanted to, thats for sure. I hope someone will have some firmware. I spoke to a Mimaki tech and he couldn't help me and recommended I post on here.
  12. Mimaki CJV30 Firmeware needed!!!

Ok, here is my story. I do some sign work on the sign with a 24 inch cutter. I had been wanting to get into printing, but never could afford a machine. I recently acquired a Mimaki CJV30-100 machine that was purchased new in 2010, not really even used by the original owner. The owner said it was...
