Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone had some good recommendations for a backlit film that I can use on Mimaki CJV 130. I need to create some menus for a local restaurant that is using a backlit display. Sort of like the Kodak Duratrans.
Thanks!

I would delete both the Regi layer and CUT layer in Illustrator. And start over. I had this happen to me once when I manually duplicated the same layer without the plug in.
Hi All
I have a client who is looking to get some lenticular banners made up. I am not sure if I can do this in house or if I would need to outsource this. I am currently working with a Mimaki CJV30-100 and a Cold press laminator with all the usual software Adobe CS suite complete. Anyone...
Hey All
Just wanted to share a Light MOD my buddy made for me using some LED strips and a power cord. Came out great!
And it works extremely well..If you ask me, the machine should have came like this from the factory.
I have the lights off obviously but it really helps me out because my...
It's clever!..but do they really expect us to believe that someone actually blueprinted this??
How about it was created in Illustrator and then the anchor points were manipulated to created the "Y" styled serfs..
;-)
No, I would not. Being it was a logo, I guess I was not treating as an original design. Usually companies like to get their name out there for advertising purposes. I also have seen a few CDs for sale that have nothing but logos on them. So this kind of threw me off.
Ok thats' t what I thought...
Hi All
I have a question regarding some copyright questions.
I have a client that wants to do some motocross graphics. The thing is, he wants to use some particular logos in the designs. My question is, What are my limits without getting in trouble with copyright issues? I was under the...
Thank you... I am going to give the long run a try before I start dissecting... but yes I am aware of the regi marks and all. i appreciate everyones most valuable input.
Joe
Thank you for your input.. I get it now..I think the problem is I do not have the extra accessory for the roll holder (what I just printed). So my first initial runs have not been very good. If it lines up straight your good.. if not..then we have laminate that overlaps and causes big problems...
Hi All
Forgive me for the newbish question... I thought I would ask the pros before I make a costly mistake.
I have just printed out a long run of decals (about 20 feet) and now I need to laminate. After laminate I plan on putting back in to the Mimaki to cut. My question is.. What would be the...
HI All
Does anyone know where I could obtain an LED bar that I can attach above the platen area on my printer? Someone told me there is one available but I have not been able to locate it. I would like to shed more light onto my print area.
Thanks
Joe
Yes.. Actually I do keep it busy. And yes you are right.. I don't want to experience any of the perils of letting these things sit too long inactive but thank you for the heads-up.
LIke that!
Thanks all for the responses. I will probably go with the Avery right now. I have some credit with my dealer so I need to use some of it up.
Hello all.
I was wondering what kind of cutter vinyl you guys would recommend for making the graphics you see on the back of car windows . Like the kind that this stick figures are made out of. I have some Jeep guys that need graphics and want to make sure I get something that is durable and...

Hi Guys
I am pretty new to the sign making scene but not to the graphic design portion. I have been in the graphics industry since 1991. So with that being said, I would like to say "hello" and introduce myself. My name is Joe and my company name is Raptor Graffix. It's not my full time...
