  5. Underwater Banner?

How does salt water affect eco-solvent printed banners? We've got a client that does a scuba camp in Florida, and they want to take a banner underwater with them for photo ops. Would I need to laminate?
  6. Just got a strange question....

How well will an eco-solvent printed banner hold up to salt-water? Apparently they want a banner that they can take pictures with in the ocean... under the water. Not sure if Pacific, Atlantic or Gulf will make a diff ;)

  9. VP-540 8 ft print is 8' 3/4"

I thought I'd be slick and do multiple prints that fit a 4'x8' sheet. Mount and then cut apart. "Piece of cake", I thought. problem is, the prints are coming out about 3/4" to long. What is causing this? There is a hint of banding like maybe it's advancing just a hair to far on each pass. Is it...

Opened it up and found a blown fuse on the circuit board. Replaced that, turned on the power and the fuse burned...

  15. Wrapping a waterslide????

Pretty sure it's not fiberglass. We are going to try a test piece first, to make sure it will stick. I believe they want some kind of pattern going all the way down it. That should be a great learning experience for lining things up. Just the beginning phase so I still have many unanswered...
  16. Wrapping a waterslide????

Yeah, we're not doing the inside!!! Although that would be a neat challenge.
  17. Wrapping a waterslide????

We have a client that is interested in wrapping a waterslide. Basically a 30" diameter tube that's 165' long. It's not straight line type water slide (that would be to easy) it's the one of those that spirals. The good news is that it's not put together yet and we can do it piece by piece. Not...
  18. Cage Fight Graphics??

We were approached by a client who is promoting a MMA cage fight and wants to put a graphic on the floor of the cage. I figure cut vinyl would probably to slick and have a chance at lifting. Would floor graphic laminate over a digital print be the thing to use? If anyone has experience with...
