  1. Help needed for cutting.080

Ok. I have a new bit and will try to slow it down. I have an air line blowing directly on the bit and cut area. Would this be ok? Also I have read in other places to spray the bit with wd 40 to help. Opinions on this.
  2. Help needed for cutting.080

I am trying to cut some letters on our router and having a hell of a time. I am using and onsrud bit (63-620) and also cutting on 5052 alum sheets. I am running @13800 max rpm and running a feed rate of 50 IPS, but getting build up on the bit and ruining the cut. Any advice?

  4. What's your preferance and why?

In my opinion(which my be only worth 2 cents!) +1 on 3M and Avery Films. 180cv3 with 8518 or 380cv3 with 8580 for those deep channel installs. Mpi1005 with 1360 or 1460 lams.(watch out for the double bubble with avery) Oracal is not my go to film. Ever. +1 On the out gassing with solvent...
  5. Have never seen this happen.................

I have had this problem before. Always with my solvent printers. Rolands. Mimaki. But Hp prints silver/grays perfect. I always proof my colors outside never under interior lights. I have also tweaked my colors in the rip by backing off the yellow ink saturation a bit. The yellowish tint of the...
  6. cast versus calendared for wraps- New technology?

If the company is an approved 3M MCS graphics provider it can offer a 5/2 year warranty on all its latex prints. And if they use high end solvent machines that warranty can go up to 7 years. 3M backs IJ180/380/480 with 8518/8519/8520 printed on approved printers and inksets for 5 years on...

  8. Laminators in the shop area

Our laminator is in our production area with our printers. Dust is so hard to keep under control. We try hard to keep fabrication out of this area and clean as often as possible. As we run prints through the laminator we use microfibers on the prints to collect as much dust and debris as...
  9. Your opinion on warranties.

Thats typically what we do. By telling the customer that if any problems arise within a year or two we will fix it at no charge, depending if it is an install issue or a printing issue. As for customer damage issue we offer the replacement at a discounted rate. I was more curious if anybody...
  10. Your opinion on warranties.

Do you guys fall back on a manufactures warranty or do you offer your own? Does the MCS warranty come into play? Have you ever had to make a claim with 3M or Avery? We recently got approval for the MCS warranty and was curious to see what you guys thought about it and if you use it as a sales...
  11. 3M "Envision" wrap film 480Cv3

That is what I was told also. We did some testing for 3M on this vinyl before it was released and was told to only print latex on it.
