  1. "Undo" not working

As far as importing EPS files in 10, try the PS (postscript interpreted) format. Most times if I select the EPS filter, I get a gray bitmap box. Highly recommend X3, it will bring in almost anything.
  2. corel photo paint

I was having the exact same problem, using 12. Very frustrating. I went ahead and upgraded to X3 and have never gone back to 12......problem solved. Nice tip on the F8 reset, know doubt I'll need that sometime in the future.

    Favorite Fonts.
  4. Software/Clipart help...

The vectorize function in Corel X3 is just plain cool. I use it almost every day and with a few tweeks, can usually get a pretty good image. Well worth the upgrade price or full version price. I also find myself using the new adjustment lab for photos...very nice.
  5. Open-Type fonts

The only thing a lock will do, is keep an honest man honest. It will only slow down the crook.
  6. Font ID, please.

Thanks man.....been there and done that. Also on MyFont. A few close ones, but not exact. I've given almost an hour to this, so close might have to work.
  7. Font ID, please.

Original font lost when swapping out an older computer. I thought it was Mistral, but not even really close. Thank you for any help.
  8. I am new and i cant figure out the font

I've also seen under the font name "Emblem".
  9. X3 upgrade from 11

I too, am still sitting on the fence. Corel 12 is running just fine (most of the time) and most of the people I deal with have not moved up either. Any issues with file compatibility with lower verisons? I am assuming that x3 will open any version, but anything lower will not be able to open x3...
  10. Corel PhotoPaint Question

I am a long time Coreldraw user (started with V2) and an occasional Photopaint user. I am currently using 12. When I select Paint Tool or Effects Tool, my upper tool bar changes to the correct interactive bar, but under Brush Type, all my options are missing. The only one that is there is...
  11. Font ID

I do believe that font would be Humanist531 Ublk BT (Corel) or AKA Antique Olive.
  12. Free Font Site

I just ran across a new free font site (new to me)...www.webpagepublicity.com Site claims 6500 free TT fonts, a good way to spend a cold rainy day. Did somebody say "the one with most fonts, wins"?
  13. I've looked all over

Thanks, that helped alot. It matched Humanist 521 Bold, but I was selecting "Italics". When I did that, it changed some of the characters ("a" & "M") that was what was throwing me off. Apparently the original vinyl guy just slanted the copy with the bounding box. Job handled, time to move on.
  14. I've looked all over

Used "What the Font?" and "FontExpert" and cannont get a good match. I have also look thru my Corel book a couple of times. Any help with an ID would be appreciated.
  15. Font Recognition

The sub copy is BankGothic LT and the main copy looks like a modified version of the same typestyle. I would convert it to curves and node edit. You could be done in a flash.
  16. Does anyone know what happened to InspireXP PRO?

Scanvec was the original mfg......starting with Casmate. Casmate was replaced by Inspire and then Inspire was replace by Flexisign. Amiable stepped in somewhere and new company is called Scanvec/Amiable (how original). I've worked with all three and the old Casmate was still the best. I still...
  17. Script ID Needed

RE: Oh, well. I've not had any luck finding the name of this font, so I just cleaned it up. Probably spent more time looking than it did just to redraw it! That's the way it goes sometimes.
  18. Script ID Needed

Bad artwork, but I know that this is a font. Any help?
