The decals will eventually get printed.
The situation i have come across is with my Roland Sp-300.
Most of the time when i print the decals are usually 3" or less.
When ever i print a decal that is 3" or larger it seems to pause, clean the heads, and then resume ( Now Processing )
This can...
While printing some vinyl my Roland will pause, clean the heads, then resume exactly where it left off.
It seems to only do this with some files, while others it can print for hours with out even pausing once.
I tried to power down the printer, shut it off, wait, then turn it back on in...
Good Afternoon,
Does anyone have experience with this product?
I have been using it for just a short time and i really cant seem to get the finished product to come out perfectly smooth.
Sometimes there are 100's of little air bubbles and it seems the technique has not changed really.
Any...
If you are using an ECO SOL ink and the cut is on the bleed.
Then you should turn your heater to about 46-49 ( for printer and dryer ). It works every time for me
Thanks for the advice. I do mostly hard hat / coffee mug decals and they get printed in large quantity. Letting them dry for 24 hours almost seems impossible. But, what i am doing is reducing the heat, and letting the vinyl dry for about an hour, i know there is more i should do but i'll have to...
Good morning,
I wondering why some of my cut decals are slightly peeling when the i cut on the bleed.
I am guessing it could be either i have my heat set to high and it is causing the vinyl to heat up too much, im using calandered Mac Tac.
or maybe it could be that i have the blade pressure set...
The ink huh?
That is an unexpected answer. Although, makes sense now.
Currently i use a Roland Sp300 and use ECO-SOL MAX inks.
Perhaps i can get a laminater or use a spray. I often do thousands of stickers at a time.
Thanks for the responses
Good afternoon,
My main use of vinyl is for decals that either go on to water bottles, coffee mugs, thermos containers, and hard hats.
My issue is that they fade over time due to the fact that the decal gets handled a lot. Such as a water bottle. It'll get held often and then thrown in a back...
Update:
New photos
One is with 100% cyan
The other is the original.
You'll now see the ghosting under the lettering
Im about to do a head clean, will post pics when finished.
The pic i posted. If you look under the F or the word celebrating there is a faint thin red line underneath.
I'll attempt to adjust the magenta and also try to print in different colour to check
I've not had any issues with my printer really.
This is a new problem and i cannot seem to remedy this.
Whenever i print this i get some very faint but visible lines on the media.
I just cleaned my printer this morning and my selections on versa works were high quality with bi direction on max...
Answer to this.
The arm on the left side of the printer has to be in the upright position. otherwise the display will tell you to close the maintenance cover.
So, im having the same issue as the poster.
I cant seem to get over it.
Any help.
I tell the machine to manual clean and when i remove the cover i says something about close the cover to prevent drying up
I switched the setting to uni directional and it has corrected the black stroke. As you see.
The grey out line seems to be very slightly off. It'll work for now.
I'll do a search on bi-directional adjustment.
Thank you =)
This seems to only work for the black ink.
Whenever i print it seems to double itself or print two lines.
Not sure what the remedy would be,
The test print comes out fine and tried a head clean.
The line running down from the "r" is only supposed to be a single line. As shown in the 1st pic (...
Where i am there is the notice that we should not wear hard hat decals but that is overlooked at every site i have been at.
I currently have a contract to do about 10,000 decals. Thats the reason why i bought a print cut, i was losing quite a bit of money subbing out the work every week...
I was thinking of going with Cast. Thanks for the suggestion.
As for laminating the company i used to sub out my stickers to never laminated and it seems the stickers have lasted at least a year. The red ink seems to fade faster then all the other colours.
I'm probably going to lean towards...
