Yes the captop is fine, I replaced it anyway. I can draw ink through the damper and with heads off of captops I can pull air through captop line but when the printhead is parked I can't draw any ink at all. The captop has a good seal as well. I'm baffled by this. Is there any other scenario...

Dampers are good, I can pull ink through them but can't pull ink through the captop line. I'm wondering if it's possible that the ink is causing the problem and maybe the printhead is clogged because of that? But then again both colors?

I'm begining to believe it's the cut carriage board or the servo board, I am trying to track down a servo board right now. Any info on where to find these boards would be greatly appreciated

The encoder strip was replace when this problem started. I tried putting some 30 inch wide vinyl and when the pinch rollers are down the cut carriage does not stop at the edge of the vinyl, It goes all the way to the farthest left before returning to the "home" position.

I've cleaned everything with alcohol. Looking at the sensor check pic it looks like the interupter is not getting any power. I performed a sensor check with pinch rollers up and down and took pics of the display and there is no * for the pinch roller sensor. I'm stumped.

Check ribon type wire to printhead. Most likely got pulled out or kinked. Chances are that's your problem

Check to see which colours are affected by printing solid colours. Its most likely the ribbons that run from the main board to the print heads.

Try doing a head soak. I use the head height function to get the heads off the captops then fill the captops with isopropyl alcohol. Pinch the ink line to the pump.Press enter and when the head sits back on the captops turn the main power off. Give it an hour then release pinch from ink line and...
