Does anyone know what this part is called? They've started wearing out and falling off and I don't want the ink tubes rubbing against the inside of the machine. Also, does anyone know of a quick fix for this? I used tape for some of them, but it's been leaving behind sticky tape residue on...
Can I delete an old post? I'm worried other people might be searching for a solution for the same problem and try what I said up there before finishing the thread. I don't know why I assumed everyone uses water-based ink just cause I do. :P
You can use a solution of 1 part windex, 10 parts distilled water and fill an altoids can (or similar shallow container) and set the head in there for about an hour. Worked for me more than once.

tim99, alot of play in the direction they roll, or side to side? Because they move side to side a little bit.
VanderJ, what's the story on shaving down the big ones? Have you seen this in action? $26 per roller is laughably outrageous. I wonder if they even realize how ridiculous that is.
The gritted roller is pretty smooth, unlike our other printers that feel like sandpaper. Also I'm pretty sure the pinch rollers have never been replaced. Has anyone here ever replaced the roller before? Not really sure what to expect from a part replacement like that. VanderJ, does...
Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm desperate, we can only print certain things on this machine now and it's seriously cutting into potential business. :/
I just fed it about 30-40 feet without taping it to the take-up. It did the same thing, but also slowly moved to the side a few millimeters while I was feeding.
