  1. Running an HP 360 on a generator?

i wasn't aware that was an option. so if i only plug in the printer, it should still start up and at least do a printhead installation?
  2. Running an HP 360 on a generator?

Yeah what's weird is the printer is stuck in a loop before even running the heater/curing module. I understand if the voltage isn't correct at the printheads maybe that's why it's failing, but the load during the printhead installation protocol is not very high, certainly nowhere near printing...
  3. Running an HP 360 on a generator?

I would assume a 330 would draw less since it's amperage is less for the printer. probably would run. thanks for the info, Frank.
  4. Running an HP 360 on a generator?

i've visually inspected the flex cables, they appear to be fine and in proper position. but i really have no idea what might be wrong. it was printing only c/lc and m/lc. after trying to run several cleanings, it eventually triggered the "reseat printhead" and i have not been able to get past...
  5. Running an HP 360 on a generator?

is there any chance running the l26500 off the generator is causing the printhead reseating loop in my other post? pretty sure it's just dead printheads/bad contacts as the printer sat for a while, but i've been trying without much luck to resolve it. may just have to bite the bullet and get a...
  6. Running an HP 360 on a generator?

the inverter outputs 60 hz with 3% thd
  7. Running an HP 360 on a generator?

So long story short I have an HP l26500, called electrician out, it was going to cost a lot of money to install a new panel as we didn't have enough space at the house for two 240v's. i got the printer used very cheap and decided that mad maxing a solution be would better suited. thus, enter a...
  8. HP L26500 repeated printhead installation error

what would be the best way to access them? so far i've been using hp's recommended technique of beginning the printhead swap, then powering down to keep access to the carriage. could i get to the board from there or would i need to dig deeper into the machine?
  9. HP L26500 repeated printhead installation error

yeah i tried the remove them all and power down trick. still flagged #4 after inserting them all.
  10. HP L26500 repeated printhead installation error

I replaced #4 with a new one, but the error continues. Sometimes it jumps from #4 to #3. I try swapping them, i've tried every combination of the now three y/k printheads i have and it always fails. I guess I can ebay another printhead and switch it, but i feel like i'm just wasting money if...
  11. HP L26500 repeated printhead installation error

So i've got an hp l26500 that is stuck in a "replace printhead" loop. It says printhead 4 is faulty; you replace it, it fails to finish the replacement, sends the carriage back to the middle, prompts you to swap the printhead again. i've cleaned the printheads manually by placing them on a wet...
  12. HP Latex Printer

Looking for an hp latex printer, preferably 300 series in central us. thanks!
  13. Drytac Multitac Tunnelling on Gatorboard?

Ungh, came in over the weekend and more boards have tunneled. It must have something to do with standing them on their side.
  14. Drytac Multitac Tunnelling on Gatorboard?

So I have this issue more frequently than I would like to admit. Using an old Jetmounter, we've been applying Drytac Multitac to 4' x 8' sheets of gatorboard for years. The rollers might be a little worn in certain areas, but the boards always roll straight as can be with a proper set-up. We'll...
  15. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

I don't believe the 330 has an onboard spectro, so no I don't believe I'm using it. Sorry for the confusion on the terms. Here is my process: >Tap on "Substrate Library" >Tap on media category (in this case "PET Film") >Tap on "New PET Film" at top of list >Select which Generic Preset I want to...
  16. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

Turning OFF "Color Correction" in Flexi v12 seems to take the pink out of the greys, but I haven't tested that on all medias yet. What's weird is, I used to ALWAYS have to use Color Correction in Flexi, another reason I was considering reverting back to Flexi 11.
  17. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

Creating New, then choosing the generic profiles from the given list. Not performing any color calibration on said profile. I am taking the values (for passes, ink density, temperature, interpass delay, etc. etc.) from previously working profiles and using them on the NEW profile. It has not...
  18. HP 310 Printing greys with a green hue

I'm still having the same issue, only my greys print pink. I have read through the previous thread about firmware updating, no doubt it is the cause. But new profiles, generated from the generic profiles, does not fix the problem for me. This is a serious flaw, IMO. EDIT: I'm also thinking...
  19. Latex 360 color consistency is not there

I'm just trying to think of anything that could have caused such a wild shift, if in any case it wasn't related to the firmware update. This time, I was prompted while installing Flexi to install the desktop driver for the L330 in order to use the printer in different programs. I thought this...
  20. Latex 360 color consistency is not there

I will give it a shot. Making a new profile with no onboard calibration got me close enough to where I could color correct in photoshop and get the print out to the customer. I will experiment today. Just made another profile with CMYK only. Currently testing.
