Make sure your offset is set correctly. It should be 0.25~0.35mm for default blades. I used PCut for few months now, and it has paid itself off. I am thinking of upgrading my vinyl cutter to another brand. Any recommendations? Probably keep the Pcut as the backup cutter.

my Pcut 630 is running well. It didn't like the sharp angle compensation setting on the software though.

Yes, it is offset. In ArtCut, it would be "Close", under Plotter Compensation Tab. It's now set to 0.35mm. It works very well. Thanks. I want to confirm that it was "Sharp Angle" compensation setting that caused the original problem, so I turned that off completely.

I have another question. It seems when I cut a circle, the knife doesn't seem to complete the circle. It misses by about 0.5mm. I would prefer if it can cut the vinyl completely. Is that a setting issue or a limitation of the machine?

Hi, It seems the driver for PCut is a generic FTDI driver. FTDI makes chips that convert USB to serial COM port. I'll send you some info & files tonight. Cheers, zenith13
