Is the laminate you are using meant to be used on UV inks? We have been using Orafol 215DU designed for lamination over UV products. Regular lams can have an adhesion issue on UV ink.

I second zspace. I'd check my encoder strip. Easy check and eliminate mechanical issues.

I had an issue like that last year. As it turned out it was the black cartridge that has a bad chip on it and for some silly reason it would throw error codes for other colors....

Horizontal banding could also be caused by a bad PF adjustment. Easy to check. check your print size of your file and simply measure finished print.

Does it start out dark green and then turn black? If so, you most likely have a maintenance staton issue. where is is drawing ink back through the printhead. Could use a little more information in order to make a more informed diagnosis. Also, as TimToad asked are you printing just 100% K or...

We use miles of sihl paper. Maybe see if your vendor can sell you a 54" roll and then slit it to 24 inches for you.

Silly thought but if it seems off always on the x-axis. you may want to make sure you have the correct tool assignment and placement as well. Tool assignment 1 or 3 and make sure tool is in the correct spot.

If your doing a wall wrap, you don't need RA. Plus you should do a wall test before you print to test it will stick. We have a 3M wall test kit. We will always test with different vinyl samples and gauges to ensure best results before we produce anything. Just to cover your butt......

You should be able to go into the menu to "test print". and then scroll to pallet and print a color pallet.

Need more info. There could be a few things causing your issue. Anything from an offset adjust to tool position. Also, are you sure your sensor is catching your crop marks or possible part of your print?
