Our company will have someone watching the Webinar. We are planning on upgrading to an HP 315 and heard about this through the sales reps from various vendors (Advantage, Grimco...) If you call them they might have a sweeter offer than $1,000 off.. $1,750 for an hour long webinar? Letter of...
  2. HP Designjet L25500 Cyan Blocks of death

Now we might be looking to finance a new printer. At what point do you give up on a machine that is no longer in warranty and is having indescribable problems? I love the printer but it is becoming more and more dated every year and I know it will have further costly issues down the line...
  3. HP Designjet L25500 Cyan Blocks of death

  5. HP Designjet L25500 Cyan Blocks of death

Update: After attempting to work out the problem I found the name of the part missing the little rubber gasket is called a Primer Assembly. It was more likely than not bumped while the carriage rail was being lubricated causing the 2 cent rubber stopper to pop off and disappear into oblivion or...

  9. Credit card keeps getting hacked

Do you have any employees that have unrestricted access to the card? What is being purchased and from where? It is unlikely but 100% possible your CC could be in the wrong hands unless of course your the only person that has access.
  10. HP Designjet L25500 Cyan Blocks of death

I have a very urgent question for the Signs 101 Community... Over the span of the last 3 months our wonderful printer started to develop this disgusting habit of printing Cyan Blocks randomly in the upper quadrant of our prints. When I say Blocks I mean perfectly sized Cyan/Light Cyan Print...
  11. Onyx - How to disable OMAS

Same issue After cleaning it, restarting the printer and cleaning it again I'm still having the issue. I disabled it in flexi but I wish I knew why it was being a little *****...
  12. Should I call for service

Running an Hp DesignJet L25500 60" Reloading the material is the standard for me now. If it (thick material especially) sits in there too long you will experience the tell tale crunch of a substrate jam.:covereyes::covereyes:
  13. error code 45.1:03 anyone,,,, anyone?

Heres your answer: Avoid occasional SE 45.1:03Inter swath delay provides more time for drying of ink, and hence can improve/eliminate several IQ issues. Until now, interswath delay modification was only possible in L26500&L28500 printers, not L25500 ones. The new firmware enables this setting...
  14. Graphtec FCS 5100 150 Contour Cutting Issues

Update: Thanks to another thread asking a similar question I was able to contour cut for the first time using the 4 point method and manual laser alignment. It might be slower than automatically scanning for the reg. marks but it is the only thing that has worked!
  15. Graphtec FCS 5100 150 Contour Cutting using 4 point method

Romney: It worked. I have no idea why it would skew so far past the 4 points I had printed but after bringing them back and following the above mentioned steps it worked. I need to seriously thank you all for the comments. We have been hand cutting EVERYTHING we printed for the past 5 years...
  16. Graphtec FCS 5100 150 Contour Cutting using 4 point method

Romney: Just tried it. I set it up on the first point. OK'ed it. It moves to the next point, 4 inches past where it should be.. and falls on the ground because it ran out of length. I'm going to try to resize my print or send something different. I have no idea why the plotter is moving itself...
  17. Graphtec FCS 5100 150 Contour Cutting using 4 point method

Okay, I'll be trying this soon. I'm not sure why the plotter was moving to the next point on its own. It was roll-2'd ....Wait ****! Bomb sight! Thats why! Re-sending soon.
  18. Graphtec FCS 5100 150 Contour Cutting using 4 point method

Romney: That is when our graphtec plotter was built :thumb: I have tried the auto reg. mark but there is something wrong with the way I'm setting it up. It is out of scale for some reason. I think our Step/in resolution is off and I have no idea how to make the correct adjustment. I was fooling...
  19. Graphtec FCS 5100 150 Contour Cutting using 4 point method

Romney: Sorry, I've never really had the proper training on either the software side or printing/plotting side of the equation. This makes explaining my issue a bit difficult. I sent my printed image that I want to contour cut to the printer and had it set up to use the 4 point registration...
  20. Graphtec FCS 5100 150 Contour Cutting using 4 point method

Romney: Hello! I'm still having some issues getting my FCS 5100 150 to contour cut the media I have printed on. I'm freaking done with ever finding a way to make the Auto Reg. Mark scanner function work. Screw it. I printed the registration marks using the 4 point method in flexi 12. My...
