That looks high res enough that you may be able to bump up the size a tad in Photoshop and live trace in Illustrator. Sorry I'm not providing the logo, I just think that may work in a pinch. Or pen tool it in Illustrator.
From what I've gathered (and I have to drive over an hour out to get the sign, assuming I can take it with me) I should be charging in the neighborhood of around $450 + travel, design and install/take down. He wants something hand-done, not a pre-made font, and wants to see several options...
I appreciate the input, but not sure how you could pull off the "15 to 20 minutes of design time" and a half hour for the painting unless it's subpar work. I haven't measured the sign, but the guy tells me it's about 10 feet long and 2 feet high. He's looking for quality and something that will...

Thanks, yes they're meant to be interior signs. As for the base coat - what's the typical choice? Should I just go with a gloss latex acrylic paint and letter right over that?
Hey everyone, new to the forum and new to the world of sign painting. Really glad to be here. I have a ton of questions but this is the topic that's been eating at me for a while and I can't seem to find much online about it - and yet it's an incredibly novice question.
I'm interested in...
