About ten years ago I made some cornhole boards for my kids -- MDO cut on the router with cupholders and all the options -- with college logos and other printed graphics. I've been retired for five years now, but I probably used Oracal vinyl. What I do remember is many, many coats of acrylic...
Keep it simple and make it easy. I found a 4'x8' white board mounted to a wall worked like a charm so everyone knew the status of nearly every project in house..
One thing I found to be quite helpful was to have a list of time-wasting issues -- searching for customer or prospect telephone number, searching for old computer files, searching for tools, etc. -- during the busy production seasons and then work on solutions for those time-wasting activities...
Hey Tony . . .Great to hear from you (pun intended!). I broke down a year ago and got my hearing aids from Costco. The new Kirkland 8.0 is supposed to be better than my Kirkland 7.0, but they are made by Rexton and they do work. Remember that these devices are hearing AIDS and not...
I have a Mimaki JC3-160S that hasn't run in three years. Low hours and well-maintained over the years. Come and get it!

Go to the local hardware store and buy a de-burring tool to finish the edges by hand after routing. We've been doing that for years and it works like a charm.
I have Gerber equipment and software for sale -- Edge printer, HS-15 plotter, Odyssey plotter, D200E router, three Omega seats with dongles -- plus ancillary equipment including H-4 panel saw. kenmklein@att.net
I have a Gerber EDGE I bought in 1996 and I'm not sure it's an EDGE 2 or not.

I'm no good at this forum stuff, so the best way to communicate is with e-mail directly.
In my post from yesterday I mentioned the "Y-Axis motor" and I actually meant the "Z-Axis motor." I have watched my D200 plunge on the Z and occasionally it just keeps cranking downward to the point where i've actually broken bits in the table top. If the collet were loose, I would think the...
I have experienced the identical problem with my D200 and replaced the Y-Axis stepper motor in an attempt to solve the issue. I still had the problem. While I have never found a perfect solution, I seem to think it's a static issue because the problem occurs in the dry, winter months. My D200...
IMHO, if you've used different foils on different vinyl and the same thing happens in the same place on your designs, then there has to be an issue with your art. Check your overprints because there may be something in the other layers that's knocking out your flood coat.
We used EstiMate and have had it for years. Our objective was consistent pricing and a professional-looking quotation. EstiMate filled the bill perfectly for us. I didn't need project management help.
I have Gerber equipment in excellent condition. In my opinion, these items would be ideally suited to a new start-up sign business. In addition to the attached listing, I have a like new H-4 panel saw with many desirable options and a variety of substrates and misc. vinyl rolls.
