  2. Been In The Business For 15 Years. Anyone Else Having Shoulder Pain?

This sort of thing does happen. Get to the doctor. A friend of mine had the same symptoms and ended up getting the arm socket assembly replaced. Now he's doing just fine. The other choice is pain management. That seems to be extremely hard to get on anymore, especially in Oklahoma. Maybe...

True story. My father came to this country from Amman, Jordan. When he first came here he asked my mother at an early age. "Carolyn, I do not know what to think of this USA. Why do people just sell their garages and not the house and the garage?" ("Garage Sale").

  9. Feedback On Printer

As long as you are sticking with rigid rolled media this latex printer will do a good job for you. if you want to have tensioner bars for fabric wallpaper with no liner go to the HP 360 instead of this one. Either way, you will enjoy the color gamut and dry time.
  10. Which Printer

Roland SP-540V VersaCAMM - Use it for the labels for our line of OEM Compatible ink - the print and cut feature is superb for custom-cut labels and stickers. We first used it to perfect our OEM Compatible Inks through extensive and long-run testing. We run nothing but Eco-Sol Inks. Lost track of...

If you do a lot of wraps latex has the best overall color gamut. You are wrong about the inks on the HP - There are good alternatives in OEM compatible latex - And they really are compatible. And don't let anybody tell you that you have to use OEM inks (MAGNUSON-MOSS). The eco-sol, excellent...
  12. dreaded banding

My guess is alignment. I would plug in a new cyan/black printhead. If this fixes it you know you need to clean the other printhead. If it does the same thing you are back to my original guess, allignment.

Glad you posted. Great Idea. Unfortunate, but that is what this forum is for. Hopefully, all will learn from this tragedy.
  14. Opinion Lamination roll size

We are going to trim both ends of the finished product anyway in our cold laminated applications. So, it does not matter. Most of what we do is thermal lamination, however, and the laminate comes 1" wider (1/2" on each end) than the printed media being laminated. We print primarily to bond...

It is an amazing piece of equipment. It is especially good printing on a variety of fabrics dues to the tensioners
  16. How do you handle clients ideas vs logo design?

It depends. I agree in the simplicity aspect of logos. Having been in offset printing applications and printing costs as well as specs usually lead to a simple design. The logo needs to be able to go everywhere from a billboard to a business card is my usual close. Too much detail in a logo...

  18. Box truck wrap pricing, what are you getting?

Shop the local competition. Do a good demo. One with the 3-M and overlam, the other with one of the cheap wraps. Don't mention the competition's name or the brand of either media. And when you come in with your quote ask for the order.
