just thought I would see if you have properly installed the blade into the blade holder....you don't simply screw the top cap all the way down...you have to adjust it....have a look at this video here ...

Can you post a photo of the board you want?

if something goes wrong with the ones you have ordered...you can also buy them from a variety of sources...down side is you may have to buy 100 pieces... In the search Forums menu bar above...type this in Screws For Dx4 Head Plate scroll down until you find this thread you will see the part...

Hi. I have had the same issue and to confirm....it is likely the carriage cutter ribbon cable...easy to change...
