Aren’t lasers and cncs more common the uv flatbeds? I know a dozen people and shops less then 5 miles from us that cnc or laser/ engrave. I can probably outsource those things easier then uv prints…
That being said I have a cnc and laser.
The one massive trade partner in the area has some of...
We bought this machine to make production faster with some of our jobs we print, laminate, and mount. I’m hoping it simplifies and speeds up some jobs. I just want to expand our offerings to help pay for this thing faster.
We just bought a large flatbed uv printer. It’s marketed as a uv for printing on objects like phone cases, lunch boxes, pens, etc.
Up until this point we’ve been primarily doing sign and wall graphics.
My question is what’s the best/ quickest/ easiest way to drum up business with our new UV...
I have exactly the same problem with GoSign! I gave up trying to figure out the best way to fix this. We use Flexi for most of our cut text. We’ll use GoSign for print and cuts and stickers.

Right now our shop is small and so are our jobs. If we do big jobs we make spreadsheets and use Trello. We’re always looking for better ways to track jobs. Not sure what we will use going forward. We do offer installation on all of our signs but charge enough to make it worth it.
We’re getting into uv printing ada signs. What is the best place to get type 2 braille? Is there a plug in for illustrator? Is there a place online?
What is the process of finding the correct translations and incorporating them into your files?
Just beginning this process.
We have an two HP latex printers. If you can get a 365 I’d go with that. Haven’t heard good things about the 700/800. We also have an epson r5070. It’s Epsons version of of HP latex. I trust the Epson for wall murals and better/ more consistent color. If your just doing cars then go with HP if...
