Im not familiar photo shop. Ive done these effects a couple of years ago in an old version. I want to merge or blend one photo into another. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I spent the afternoon working on the issue. I finally got it. I had to get the Roland spot color white in AI, create a graphic using the spot white, exported it as a pdf to flexi and the create a swatch of the spot white with the eye dropper. Thanks for the help.

I bought a XR640 the first of August. Set it up as a CMYKLmLcLk and white. I can not seem to get it to print the white in Versaworks Ive made the RDG_White spot color in flexi but it does not recognize it in Versaworks. Anybody have any suggestions?

Ive done that. What happens is Versaworks comes up with a message when opened. It comes up with a message. Fail to load language resources. THen when it tries to do the automatic update it comes up with, Exception occurred ErrorCode: 0.

I have tried to run it in an earlier version of windows. That did not work as well.

I Have logged on to my roland account with both of my machines. That is where I got my updates. I will try to find a roland tech today and contact them. My tech retired a couple of years ago. I believe I need to start with a newer version of versa works.

I have a XC 540. Is anyone using the Triangle inks? If so what is your opinion. I have been a strict Eco-sol MAX person for the last 6 years. But like everyone else I am trying to save a buck.

I have a customer that wants me to print bar code labels. I dont even know where to start. I use Flexi 8, Versa works and a XC540. Does anybody have any suggestions? Or is this even possible?

Ok I will try that next time. The print has lots of shades of blues to grays in that area. Anyone have any other thoughts.

Yes I did. I panelled it in Versaworks. Printed the 1st panel then the 2nd one.

I made a print that was 8 ft x 7 ft in 2 panels. Printed 1 after the other. When I went to join them together the 2 nd panel is darker. Any Ideas on the problem.

maddmd, that is the the roland link that does not work.

Does any body know where I can get the driver down load for the SP 540 V for Windows XP besides the Roland Site. Its not available there and I have not received an email back from Roland yet telling me why.

What did the tech find out?

It could be a bad damper wich would cause one of the CMKY colors not to make it to the one of the heads. You should be able to run the test print to find out.
