Is your laminate 54 inch? If so, in our shop we use the wasted paper backing from laminate. it does not work the greatest with longer lengths but for short pieces it works fine. It likes to get bunch up and wrinkle on the longer runs. Hope this helps.
Hello,
Would anyone happen to know if I can or where to buy a longer cable for my Soljet Pro 4 XR-640?
I am wanting to get a cable around 16 foot, if not longer.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
I am wanting to stay away from having to use a regular extension cable.
Thanks
You could do it on banner. Have a bunch of grommets and then rope long enough to go over the top and under the bottom then tie the ends of the rope together.
Like what everyone else said. Buy the specific bit for drilling that type of material. I also put a wood board underneath and clamp it down tight. I have not had any cracks since doing it that way.
The company I work for purchased one at the beginning of this year.
It has worked great for us and we have had no issues.
Very easy with cleaning just like the sp540s.
I think it is a very good running machine.
Hello,
I recently tried to make a purchase from your website and it would not accept my payment.
I was wondering if i needed to make contact with you guys first.
Thanks
We use a clear cold laminate on most of our indoor perfs. It is not quite necessary if they are not in direct sunlight but it speeds up application. Also if they are in a well trafficked area where they could be rubbed up against it provides protection from scratches and the like.
Thanks for the advise.
I retraced my steps and turns out i must have bumped a head cable a little loose it was not in all the way.
The problem is solved as of now.
Much appreciated
Hello all,
I recently replaced a damper on our sp 540v.
I had it powered down and everything but when i went to turn it on it did its usual start up process.
During said process it powered down and started making a humming noise.
The humming noise seems to be coming from the board that the...
I took all the cables out and cleaned around everything with 99% isopropyl alcohol.
There was a bunch of build up on the cables and around the ports where they plug into.
Attached guard back in place and it is now printing with the guard on so far.
I am guessing as you had said Terry, that some...
Hello All,
We have a Sp-540v here at our shop.
I was having issues with it when i would power it on. It would start the initial cleaning cycle then when it went to wipe the head it would power the secondary power down.
Sometimes it would complete the cleaning no problem but when I would try to...
Our machine has just started doing this as well. Have you found any fix to this?j
Firmware is 3.20
Using Rasterlink.
I completely rip files before printing.
Thought it was a media issue when using take up reel but the problem happens without reel as well.
Thanks
