  1. Need Help Recommended vinyl and laminate to wrap corrugated shipping containers.

We typically use Avery 1105/ 1360 might be overkill but makes the install much smoother.
  2. Most affordable way to ship banners?

I've found the best packaging wise for banners has been tubes. Quick, easy rollup and slide in the tube. Also, if you don't already have an account with your preferred shipper sign up for one, good way to save. The higher your volume the lower they ship for. Probably obvious answer to your...
  3. Need Help Is it possible to add bleed to a .ai or .eps file that has a lot of layers?

Another reason it’s best if you have to reach to an outside designer it’s good to find one that understands the time reduction side of things as well. We find many struggle with the concept of how to make print/cut & bleeds work. There are so many good designers out there but using those that...
  4. Need Help Is it possible to add bleed to a .ai or .eps file that has a lot of layers?

Super simple, just added a bleed on this in less than a minute. I used Adobe Illustrator vs. Corel like KMSP but same overall concept.
  5. Need Help Printing on Epson, Cutting with Roland

Your dealer is correct, the Summa cutters are pretty amazing. I think you'll love it.
  6. Need Help Printing on Epson, Cutting with Roland

Sure thing, no problem. I believe if you are working on the same system you can do it (Using Onyx, Flexi etc to both print & cut , but the way ours is setup I use Flexi / Production Manager to Rip & Print and Roland Cut Studio for cutters. Once we get them all on the same system I think we'll...
  7. Need Help Printing on Epson, Cutting with Roland

I have not. From what I was told the crop marks have to be put on by the same program being used to cut with Roland machines. Did it this way for years with out Graphics thru Illustrator, doesn't seem to work that way with Roland for whatever reason. Or at least we haven't been able to figure it...
  8. Beer Bubbles

Could try something like this: Beer
  9. Need Help Printing on Epson, Cutting with Roland

Hey all, Just curious if anyone has input or advice for creating crop marks for my prints that I am outputting on my Epson printer, to cut on a Roland GR-640 cutter? I typically add the crop marks in Illustrator via the Cut Studio plugin, however they appear to vary a bit from the marks that...
  10. Disappointing when good customer doesn't pay...

Either a CC on file or up front pay at the time of order. I stopped being a bank years ago, haven't felt better since. We can't go to the store and buy groceries or clothes and "stop by next week to pay." Don't do it, or collect interest on it or somehow penalize slows payers by charging more...
  11. RV / Toy Hauler templates

Can anyone point me in the direction of accurate travel trailer / RV, toy hauler templates, specifically a Coachmen Freedom Blast model #271BL? Have a client wanting one wrapped on a tight deadline but want to make sure my design is as accurate as possible for all obstacles that are typical of...
  12. Canvas stretch - problem

I totally agree with this, I'd think it's most likely the canvas. I've purchased a few different types to test out. None of which has become loose or floppy since mounted. Even have one about 9 years old that still looks great, not sure what it was printed on, had someone else do it years ago...
  13. Question Business Cards

Check out 4over.com & Jakprints.com. We've used them both for years, always been happy. They offer all sorts of options to make your card stand tall. From what i've seen Staples is about on par with with a Vista Print or something of that sort. The focus is more on banging out something cheap...
  14. Very large run of 2” round stickers/labels help

Stouse is the way to go on this! They have the Pricing, quality & knowledge to get you what you need!
  15. Need suggestion on a business name for Wrap Shop . Let’s be creative !!!

I’ve always liked Drive By Media, could do some cool stuff with promo around it. Or something like “Ain’t Paint” I hate when people say “that’s a cool paint job, paint scheme etc.”
  16. Question Clear printable vinyl instead of translucent 3850 oracal on lighted faces

Same here, works perfect for what you are looking to do! Might want to dual pass to get your colors solid, just takes a little tweaking to get it right.
  17. Just In Product examples/situaions where you WOULDN'T need lamination

We used to do this and always thought it was a good route to go, at least until the ink rubs off. Nobody asks if it was laminated, everyone asks who did them so when they say XX company did them and it makes you look like a hack. Often times people will leave out the details in order to pass off...
  18. Just In Product examples/situaions where you WOULDN'T need lamination

We don’t let anything of a sticker or decal except certain wall graphics or short term interior use only products without lam. Not worth it. If it’s too expensive for the customer they shouldn’t be buying it.
  19. Artwork for 3/4 Wrap

Redraw it but in your own way so you aren’t ripping off someone else’s work. 15 min Job maybe. Easy peasy!
  20. What print cut solution for long prints

I’ve found for us with long diecuts separate machines seems to be the most accurate & efficient. We’ve always used Graphtec cutters and been very pleased with them overall. Roland as well (single cutter) hear very good things about Summa, haven’t used one yet though.
