  1. Scan Code Error Code:0010 0010

I have a Roland SP-540i that is a couple years old and in great shape. Saturday towards the end of a run (barely 0.25" left to print) I get the Scan Code Error. (No material jam or anything like that) Powered the machine off and I still get the message. I read other posts about the error but...
  2. Voids in cut lines with VersaWorks

MainelySigns is the winner! Not that I like that option but I'll just reduce the spacing to make up for the extra in the design. Changing cut line point size did not work, nor did adjusting Document Setup to be larger than the design. (My supplier's suggestion). Thanks for everyone's help - now...
  3. Voids in cut lines with VersaWorks

This is totally bizarre! (Running a Roland SP300V) I have tried several files - some old & some brand new. I am using Illustrator CS2 and assign the color for versaworks - done it a million times with no issues. Today, every job I tried to print/cut, there was a void in the moving dashed line...
  4. Font ID Help

I have a customer that would like to use the same font as one of their suppliers. It's not to copy the company logo but rather to have the same style for their promo materials (decals) for their shop name. If anyone can identify the font, I would be grateful. Thanks -mike-
  5. Font ID

    SWEET! Thanks!
  6. Font ID

Customer of a customer wants something printed but there is zero contact between the end user and their graphics person. Does anyone know what font this is? Thanks in advance. -mike-
  7. Material Question

I primarily use Roland GCVP material (Glossy) and after I got home with my material today, I noticed I was given MCVP (Matte) in error. Rather than driving back to exchange it, I'd like to try it but I'd like input from others on their thoughts of Glossy vs. Matte. I am running the Roland SP300V...
  8. SP300 Double Cut

The following message sometimes appears when this double cut line thing happens... "mixing process and spot color swatches may result in...." Not sure if that could reflect this issue.
  9. SP300 Double Cut

In this particular case, I created the images in Illustrator. 99% of the time I have no issues. The odd time I will have the double cut thing happen.
  10. SP300 Double Cut

I thought so too but in Illustrator there is no indication that it was converted. It doesn't appear until I'm ready to send the job to the printer.
  11. SP300 Double Cut

On a couple occasions, everything looks fine when the graphic file was created and saved or when supplied by the customer. When the file is opened up for ripping/outputting, a double cut line appears. Any ideas as to how this happens and what I can do to rectify the issue? Many thanks... -mike-
