We purchased an HP 115 because we are small also. It comes with flexi. We pay a little more for ink but we love our printer. We also use macs and purchased a windows computer just to print from. No biggie. A big company like HP should support macs. Too bad they don’t. Good luck to you.

Is the core spinning on the spindle? You should not be able to turn the roll without the spindle turning. If so stick some paper between them so they will not turn independently. I don’t completely understand your description. I have a Latex 115. Just trying to help.

Call the place you are buying it from and ask them if the latex printer will melt the material. Design jets do not have heated dryers.

I know other HPs that do this when under setting it is set to fast print or low quality print. Change it high quality or slow or whatever wording they use on that driver. I have solved many customer issues with this easy setting.

Set print driver to high quality printing. Sounds silly but I have solved some HP inkjet problems this way.

Check the ink lines going into the printhead. Do they look like the others or is black getting into your yellow?

Absolutely. That is what the Avery wrap instructors suggest. Like the guy said above. So you wrap the whole car then place what you would like where you want it.

Latex ink is also durable. HP makes reliable machines. Print heads are also affordable unlike some other machines. These are things I also considered.

We have the 115. The only real difference you might be concerned about is that per ounce the 115 ink costs more than the 315 due to the smaller ink cartridges. Please do not use 3rd party ink. It will void your warranty and if you have a problem after your warranty with ink issues the repair...
