Seems to be printing fine on scrap pieces of material we have around the shop so I’m thinking it’s the PVC. Heading to a different supplier right now to try some new full sheets.

Well, I take that back. Flattened transparency and it worked on a test sheet, went back to the larger sheets and it did it again. I feel like I’m losing my mind here haha. Now to test different versions of the PVC to see if that’s the issue.

Figured it out. Flatten transparency worked. No idea why we would have to do that since we haven’t had to do it in the past but it fixed it.

Print on vinyl then laminate with polycarbonate. Vinyl shouldn’t be laser cut and polycarbonate doesn’t laser cut well but you can cut with a plotter or by hand.

More than likely that is reverse painted. In my experience most vacuum formed pan faces are painted from the inside. We have a few wholesalers that do vacuum forming, not a common thing for most folks to do in house. I am sure the technology has changed since I knew what I was talking about...

Hey, outside of Cleveland here as well. That definitley looks like a static issue due to low humidity. Happens to us this time of year as well. We try to keep our humidity up over 50%. We have a static bar installed on our FB700. We also use a spray called K2R when it gets real bad.
